Arithea: It's our anniversary.
She showed the cupcakes they baked.
She sounded weak but she still tried to be energentic like she always does.
Killian was just observing her.
Arithea: I'm just a bit tired, ang sakit ng ulo ko e so this is probably just a short film.
Killian: I told you, sana nagpahinga ka nalang kahapon.
He was gentle, he was genuinely concerned with what's happening to her.
He doesn't want to think of anything negative, he just wants to make sure that's she's okay but how can he when she doesn't want to be checked up.
Killian: Kaya mo ba mamaya?
Arithea: Ofcourse, it's our date.
Killian: Should we stop filming so you could rest?
Arithea: No, I'm completely fine, Killian.
She sounds irritated.
Killian: I'm sorry, I'm just worried.
Arithea: You don't have to, nothing's wrong about me.
Killian: How are you sure? Hindi ka pa doktor para malaman kung okay ka lang ba talaga.
Arithea: I know what i am feeling, i know if I'm not okay.
She still wanted to stay calm.
The tiredness in her voice is very much heard.
Killian: But you don't exactly know what's going on inside you. You know your emotions but how about your body? Are you still healthy? Even your parents noticed that something is wrong.
Killian: Hanggang kailan mo ba aayawan ang magpa-check up?
He felt the urge to cry. Nahihirapan na siya.
Arithea: Fine.
Killian: What?
Arithea: I- I'll have a check up next week.
She wasn't looking at him, she wasn't looking at the camera. She was looking at her fingers that she's playing with on her lap.
Tears were slowly rolling down her face.
While Killian was so happy that he finally made her agree to have a check up.
Killian hugged her, she leaned on his chest and he was hugging her from her side.
Killian: You'll be okay, Arithea.
Arithea: I hope so.
It almost sounded like a whisper.
And at that moment.
They both know that something worse is about to happen.
But she knows way worse than he does.
Arithea: Happy Anniversary, love.
She whispered and blew the candles he lit up on one of the cupcakes.
