Me: Yup! My birthday is in two weeks!
Mary: Cool! We should do something special for you, dude!
Iris: Exactly!
Steven: Are we still in Massachusetts?
Ken: Yes. *driving*
Man: *driving a white 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan with a Rhode Island license plate on it*
Carlton: I see the Connecticut welcome sign coming up!
Ken: Yup! *driving and crosses back into Connecticut*
Sign: Connecticut Welcomes You! Governor Ned Lamont!
Ken: Back in Connecticut!!!
All Of Us: *cheers uproariously and whistling*
Steven: *covers his ears* SHUT UP!!!!!
Ken: Steven, it's okay! Everyone is just excited!!
Jamal: Road trips are about having fun, ya dig?
Steven: Great! Now I got a headache!
Radio: *playing Butterflies by Michael Jackson*
Time skip......
Interstate 84 westbound
Manchester, Connecticut
Radio: *playing I Want It That Way by The Backstreet Boys*
All Of Us: *singing along, sans Steven*
Steven: STOP IT!!!!! *covering his ears*
All Of Us: *ignoring Steven and still singing*
Steven: SOMEONE SHOOT ME IN THE HEAD!!!!! *still covering his ears*
Ken: *driving through Hartford, and merges onto Interstate 91 south towards New Haven*
Steven: Jeez! I hate that song!
Radio: *playing Meet Me Halfway by The Black Eyed Peas*
All Of Us: *singing along*
Steven: AW COME ON!!!!! *covering his ears again*
All Of Us: *still singing along*
Steven: KEN IS TRYING TO CONCENTRATE ON THE ROAD!!!!
Ken: Doesn't bother me! Stop yelling, Steven! *driving through Wethersfield*
Steven: Turn the radio off!
Ken: No! *driving through Rocky Hill*
Radio: *playing All The Pretty Girls Do It Like This*
All Of Us: *singing along*
Steven: *screaming at the top of his lungs* STOP!!!!!!!!! THAT'S ENOUGH!!!!! *breaks down crying*
Jamal: What you crying for, son?
Steven: *choked sobs* You guys keep on singing! Its bothering me! *tears streaming down his face*
Mary: Fine, we'll stop singing, you big baby!
Brandon: You ruined the vibe, man! We were just having some fun!
Me: Yeah!
Ken: *takes the exit for Route 9 south towards Middletown Old Saybrook*
Steven: *sniffling and his eyes are red*
Jamal: Look at you, son! You're a mess!
Ken: *driving on Route 9 south through Cromwell* When we get back home, Steven, I want you to go in the bathroom, and splash water in your face.
Steven: *sniffs* Okay. *hoarse*
Time skip.......
Ken: *driving on Washington St, passing by 5 Guys, Dunkin Donuts, turns left onto West St, stops at the stop sign, crosses the bridge, going on the speed bumps, turns left onto Butternut St, drives past Pondview Apts, turns left onto Thomas St, and pull into the apartment parking lot* We made it back.
Steven: *gets out, enters the apartment and splashes water on his face*
Ken: After you're done, we need to talk.
Steven: *still splashing water on his face* Okay.
