[Flashes of the past. Debris floats above the ground after a wreak. Vers opens her eyes, she is lying on the ground and green blood is dripping from her nose. She sits up and looks at her hand that is also bleeding. She looks over towards a woman, who looks back at her. In the distance, a shadow emerges from the smoke, although obscure, its unmistakable that the shadow is that of a Skrull. The Skrull holds up a weapon aimed at her before she wakes up.]
"So, it was a dream then?" Wanda asked.
"Yeah, not exactly." Carol said, refusing to give any information beyond what they were seeing.
"I know how that is." Bucky muttered and Silas squeezes his hand.
[Vers sits up in her bed, a device in her neck glows as her hands glow slightly.]
"What's that thing in your neck doing?" Marcel asked.
"An inhibitor?" Carol said, the tone of her voice unclear.
[Vers looks out the window at the city. "Hala: Capital Planet of Kree civilization" appears on the screen.]
"You're Kree?" Valkyrie asked.
"Ronan was Kree." Quill said.
"How do you know Ronan?" Silas asked, curious about his new team's adventures.
"In our time we fought Ronan when he was trying to destroy Xandar to get the Power Stone." Gamora explained. Silas nodded.
"Who are they?" Max asked.
"The Kree are one of the most technically advanced races in the universe and they're also very militaristic." Valkyrie explained.
"Not to mention they're complete assholes." Carol said. Silas, Fury and Coulson nodded in agreement.
[Vers has woken up from a dream and is now standing outside Yon-Rogg's room. When she knocks, Yon-Rogg answers the door still half-asleep]
YON-ROGG: [annoyed and tired] Do you know what time it is?
