"But he doesn't take his eyes off you, I'm telling you."

The comment makes Barcode chuckle but keep his eyes on his food.

"And what about the other day when he went all the way across the set to get whatever Nong had left in the trailer?"

Tonight they went to a restaurant instead of having dinner on set as usual, and since the food arrived, the conversation is about how one of the other actors on the series is fascinated by Barcode and possibly into him.

"Oi! He's just being kind." The younger man responds for the first time.

"I don't think that's kindness."

The comment coming from one of the staff makes everyone laugh, including himself.

"But what about Nong, isn't he interested?"

For the first time in a while Barcode looks up at the one responsible for the question. Jeff watches him with clear amusement in his eyes.

"Let him be, when the time comes Nong will be interested in someone."

When someone else says it, he resists the urge to pinch Jeff under the table.

"Yes, when the time comes." Barcode agrees, turning his eyes back to his food.

While another subject comes up, Barcode watches from the corner of his eye as Jeff takes his cell phone out of his pocket and it doesn't take much to understand what he's doing. Barcode smiles when his own cell phone vibrates on his lap.

And the Oscars go to...

With a slight smile as if he's actually pretending to follow the conversation around him, Barcode replies:

Jeff

'When the time comes'.

Whoever hears you say that has no idea about all the dirty things you say in bed.

Is Phi complaining?

The pause in the exchange of text messages occurs when the older one waves to a waiter so that everyone can order more drinks. They're the only ones there who don't have anything alcoholic in their glasses. When Jeff checks his phone again, the answer comes quickly.

Quite the opposite. I really like how Nong learns fast ;)

Barcode

Since Phi likes what I say, here it goes:

It should be forbidden for Phi to wear those jeans.

They're obscene.

After sending the message, Barcode decides to put his phone down and watches Jeff out of the corner of his eye again. He takes too long to see the message when he actually joins the conversation with the others. They talk long enough for someone to decide they want to leave and then the younger man says he also wants to go back to the hotel soon.

Despite missing the exact moment when Jeff reads the message, Barcode is sure it was read when, as he gets up, he sees Jeff adjusting his tight jeans around his waist and then sending him a lopsided smile. The older man's walk to the van is overly provocative.
