"So hot." Barcode whispers in Jeff's ear as they strike poses for the photoshoot for a local magazine.

After the misunderstanding they had, each day that passes has become more and more difficult for them to stay away from each other. They basically run to the hotel at the end of every shooting day and haven't even made an effort to meet the staff and other actors for dinner on a few occasions. As they are reaching the final stage of the shooting, they alternate the little free time in their agenda with arrangements like the one from today.

Jeff takes a deep breath.

Standing in front of Barcode with his back almost connected to his chest, the photographer decides to take a break so Jeff turns his head towards Barcode, looking as serious and concentrated as he always does when he is working.

"I'll put chokers on the list." Barcode smiles as he nods to the accessory the other has around his neck.

"Could you please not talk about it here?" Jeff asks with his expression still serious, but his gaze goes down to Barcode's lips.

Barcode laughs lightly again and shakes his head.

"I can't, I'm sorry, Phi."

Jeff still takes a while looking at him seriously, but ends up offering a smile that becomes a chuckle. Like a magnet, Barcode leans slightly towards Jeff when the photographer returns for another shooting session. Jeff chuckles again, clearly understanding what was about to happen. He moves one hand back and reaches for Barcode's in a firm, quick, but intimate grip.

Barcode even manages to regain focus for a while after that. When they are already in their places for another set of pictures, he feels Jeff's hand on his lower back. That alone would make it hard to keep his focus, considering the current context, but like the vengeful bastard Barcode's already learned to recognize in him, Jeff runs his hand slowly down the curve of his ass. With all the self-control the universe decides to give him, Barcode just keeps nodding at whatever the photographer says.

They still go through two more outfit changes – and several teasing comments and glances – before moving on to the photos with the other actors of the series. The atmosphere becomes more relaxing, which causes Barcode to momentarily shift focus from the distraction of having Jeff around. It's also the first time he really notices the closeness of one of his co-workers, the one who's he's been warned about. Yet the other is so kind and respectful that Barcode is a little doubtful that these are signs of a possible interest.

The certainty only comes when they are already in the dressing room, in their own clothes, waiting to leave. Barcode feels someone approach and sit next to him on the sofa and looks away from his cell phone to find the boy with a calm expression.

"Hm... Would you like to go get something to eat after?" He asks quietly, seeming to hesitate, but with a small smile on his lips.

"Oi! Sure." Barcode nods and smiles a little wider than he did. "We'll wait for the others and then we can decide where to go." He says pointing to the other room where Jeff and the other actor are still changing.

"I meant—" He scratches the back of his head before gesturing towards the two of them. "You and me."

"Oh..." It is at that exact moment when Jeff walks through the door and catches his eye. Jeff comes closer with a slight smile, so Barcode looks at the other again, who is still watching him, waiting for an answer. "Hmm... Is it okay if it's another day? Today we are very tired and—"

"Sure." His face lights up.

Barcode immediately realizes what he's just done.

He doesn't want to go on a date with the guy, but he doesn't know how to say no either, since it's the first time he's been asked out on a date, and deep down he doesn't want him to feel bad. Gradually Barcode begins to really understand how people put themselves in uncomfortable situations.
