You were there the day Toruk Makto and his family asked for uturu. They were in need of help, which you were more than happy to give. You've always went out of your way to help others; it was important to you.

Your first interaction with Toruk Makto's oldest son was something, if you were being honest. You were trying to climb a tall rock, so you could go sit at the top. Your technique was not all that great, but you were trying. You heard a chuckle followed by a voice. "Do you need help?" He asked, you could hear the amusement in his voice without having to turn around.

"Well- If you could... perhaps lift me up a bit so I could reach higher would be nice." You said holding onto the rock. He laughed again and you heard footstep getting closer. As he placed his hands to lift you up, you used all you had to climb the rock. Once you reached the top, you let out a sigh and finally looked down to see who had helped you.

When you saw beautiful amber eyes, you couldn't help but stare. He was the first to break the silence. "So... What's your name?" He asked from down the rock with a shy smile. You quickly blinked getting back to reality. "Why do you wanna know?" You softly asked.

"Since you're asking, I want to know the name of the person who decided to blindly trust me climb a wall when I could've been absolutely no help at all." He asked raising an eyebrow. You couldn't help but smile at him. You could see in his eyes he was trying not to tease you, unsure if would take it badly. "I almost had it, for your information." You started earning a laugh from him.

"You're absolutely right, I mean you were truly not struggling. Not at all." He sarcastically said moving a hand to scratch the top of his head, a smile on his lips. You smiled at his words. He was cute.

You told him your name and asked for his with as much confidence as you could muster. It was with an amused smile that Neteyam slowly backed away before he turned his back to you and returned to the village.

That was the beginning of a great friendship, which meant a lot to you. You spent all your time with him and his siblings, helping them learn your ways. You found something that made your heart feels warm. He was amazing.

You were always there with him.

You were there the day he fell; your blood ran cold, and your heart sank to your stomach. You were also there when he would not wake up, watching over him to make sure he would come back. His body seemed lifeless, but you knew, deep down, that he was fighting to stay. He was fighting to come back – to live. He was strong after all; he did not get his nickname randomly.

Neteyam the mighty warrior.

Life seemed to stop for his family – for you. You needed him to stay with you. He needed to live. He could not leave Pandora this early, it would not be fair. You prayed next to his sleeping body every night before going to sleep. You asked the Great Mother over and over to let him come back to you. It could sound selfish, but you couldn't live without him anymore.

You were there when he woke up. He was weak and pale, but he had survived and was awake. You stayed by his side through it all. At first, he was confused, wondering why his body was in such a pain. When you told him what happened, he stayed silent, as if he had remembered something. As if he was trying to apologise for the pain he caused. As the days passed, you helped him eat, changed his bandage, and talked to him.

Neteyam would smile and respond like he used to, before his incident. His recovery seemed to be going well and soon enough, he was able to walk on his own, standing strong and confidant like he is. His siblings started smiling again as well, life was going back to normal.
