It had been a year and a half since Amy and Rory had broken up, she had said some things that she had really regretted, she still loved him though, and she wanted him back.
They hadn't really spoken since the break up but she found herself on his doorstep one afternoon, knocking. What happened next took her by surprise.
A woman answered.
"Hi, can I help you?"
"Oh umm, yeah, I'm looking for Rory".
"He's just gone out to the shops to get some milk, he'll be back in a minute if you want to come in and wait?"
Amy happened to notice by chance that she was wearing an engagement ring. "oh my god".
The woman's eyes followed Amy's to wear she was looking and smiled at the ring, "I know, I couldn't believe it when Rory asked me"
"I umm, I should go, sorry to have bothered you".
"Oh okay, well do you want me to tell Rory you came by? Whats your name?"
"No, it doesn't matter" she hurried back towards her house when she bumped into someone.
"Sorry miss, I should've watched..." He looked at her, "Amy.."
She looked back at him and went quiet for a few seconds, "Rory".
