It was just gone 9pm and Amy and Rory were cuddling on the sofa watching TV, Rory stroking his wife's arm as she played with his hair.
A couple of minutes later she looked at him and smiled. "Rory?"
He looked back at her, "you okay?"
"Do you wanna make out?"
He smiled at her, "I'd thought you'd never ask" he leaned over her as she leaned back on the sofa and started kissing her passionately.
As Amy was undoing Rory's shirt a few minutes later Caitlin started crying upstairs. She moved from under her husband and headed for the stairs, "I got it, do you mind doing the dishes, it'll only take a couple of minutes"
"Yeah sure" he stood up and went into the kitchen as Amy went upstairs to get Caitlin back to sleep.
About 10 minutes later she came out the bedroom only to be greeted by Rory, "hey" she whispered, "you okay?"
He whispered back, "yeah I'm good, come with me" he took her hand and led her downstairs, out into the back garden.
"What are we doing out here?"
"Look up" he looked up at the sky as Amy looked up as well. "Isn't it the most stars you've ever seen in one go".
"It's beautiful" she wrapped her arms around Rory's waist, resting her head against his chest, "I love you so much Rory"
"I love you too, I always will" he smiled and wrapped his arms around her as well
