There was a fireworks display in Leadworth tonight and Rory had talked Amy into going, so she was upstairs getting ready.

10 minutes later she came down in jeans and t-shirt with her hair tied up. "Okay, I'm ready, how long until the fireworks start?"

"About an hour"

"Then how come we're going so early?"

"Because I'm taking you for chips first, and I want to get a good seat".

She smiled and kissed him, "I love you"

"I love you too" he smiled back and took her hand, "lets go then".

Half an hour later they were sat on Leadworth green close to where the fireworks were going to happen, Amy sat between Rory's legs, eating some chips. Rory reached over her shoulder and took a few chips from the packet and ate them. "These are really good".

"Yeah they are" Amy finished the last few chips off and leaned back into Rory gently, pulling his arms around her waist and holding onto his hands. "You're comfy".

"Well I try". He smiled and kissed her cheek as his best friend, Kyle, came over with his girlfriend and sat down next to them.

"I thought I would find you here Williams, this is your favourite fireworks spot to sit in". Kyle looked at his girlfriend, "this guy has sat in the exact same spot every year for the fireworks for like 10 years".

"Yeah and you always sit next to me Smith". Rory smiled at him, "good to see you again".

"You too".

No one said a word during the fireworks apart from 'Ooo' and 'aahh'. It was the only time in Leadworth when everyone got together and enjoyed themselves. Rory had moved his arms to wrapped around Amy's shoulders and Amy was gently stroking one of them as they both looked up at the fireworks.

About half an hour after they had finished, most people had left and Amy and Rory were still sitting on Leadworth green.

"Why are we still here Rory?"

"Because it's a clear sky tonight, so there are going to be lots of stars, and I thought it would be nice to just watch them together, we haven't done that in years."

She smiled, "you are so romantic" she kissed one of his hands, "I love you so much".

"I love you too, more than anything". He turned her head slightly and kissed her for a few seconds before pulling away, smiling, "forever".
