It was about a week after they had got home from the hospital and Amy knew Rory was struggling to look after her, it couldn't have been easy for him, carrying her up and down the stairs every night and every morning, or whenever she wanted the bathroom.

She had found a home that was suitable for her just outside of Leadworth and they had said they would take her until she started to walk again. Telling Rory was the hardest part.

"Amy, I can look after you here, you don't need to go into a home".

She took hold of his hand, "I don't want to be a burden to you, I can tell how much you struggle getting me up and down the stairs, in the home at least I'll have a room designed for someone in a wheelchair".

"So we're just meant to be apart for four or five months?"

"No, Rory, you can still visit every day, and take me out for trips and meals and stuff".

"But it won't be the same".

"I'm in a wheelchair, it's not the same anyway, Rory, right now, this home is the best option for both of us".

He nodded and stood up, "when do you go?"

"Tomorrow morning".

"Well then, best make the most of tonight". He picked her up and sat her down on the sofa, sitting next to her and kissing her passionately.
