5 minutes later Rory came downstairs and found Amy sat at the table in the dining room, wiping tears away from her eyes.

He went over to her and pulled a chair out, sitting next to her, "you okay?" He took hold of her hand and stroked it gently.

She looked at him, "looking after Jamie is so hard by myself, Rory, I can't do it, he just cries all the time, and you mocking me and saying that it can't be that hard makes me feel like I'm doing an even worse job at it".

"You're not doing a bad job, Amy, you're a brilliant mum, I'm sorry if I upset you, I didn't mean to, but Amy, if you're feeling like this then you have to talk about it, to me or to anyone else, it's better than bottling it up".

She nodded and sat on his lap cuddling in to him, "can you call in sick tomorrow? I need you here".

"I wish I could Amy, but they're short staffed enough as it is, I'm sorry, but I promise you that you'll be fine, if there's a problem just call my parents or your parents, okay?"

She kissed his cheek, "okay".

"Come on, lets go back to bed". He stood up as Amy got off his lap and took hold of her hand, walking upstairs with her.
