Hridhay

Let me see, how long does she pretend not to understand my feelings.

I have been on some dinner dates with the girls I have been with before I completely fell for Darshana and wanted only her. But I never enjoyed as much as I enjoyed tonight. And it's just the first. I believe there will be a lot more in the future.

I will make it happen.

I pressed the stop button before pressing the button to reach the basement parking lot. I called the mechanic and asked him to bring the car. I leaned against one of my cars until the mechanic arrived with the car. We exchanged our keys and I paid him more than he ever asks for any repair work when he just guarded the car until I called him.

The car repair was just a part of the plan. I wanted to spend more time with her. I was tired of waiting for her to choose between Veda and me. And Jaganathan sir's call was just a push for me to approach her about my feelings. These two months I was playing a good boy with her but I could always feel the tension existed between us which she was trying to ignore as usual.

I wanted to use this date night as a medium to bring that tension out of our systems. Though what I planned didn't happen, whatever happened was far enough. After planning for Aravind's late arrival, I copied the 22 year old idea from the Kushi movie. But a few things went out of hand but ended up on a good note.

I didn't expect the situation for me to tell the truth of delaying the arrival of Aravind to Darshana. I didn't expect that Darshana would question me about Dhanya and my marriage alliance. She did question me on the day Dhanya arrived at the office but I teased her in return but I used this opportunity to clear the misconception about the marriage alliance. I didn't want anything to block the chance of her choosing me.

I didn't expect the song to come up exactly when Darshana asked me for whom I'm living the life of a celibate. I used the song and pretty much answered that it's her. But she is very clever and a great actor. She maintained the facade of not understanding throughout. But she doesn't know that she cannot act for long.

Veda might be her first kiss but I will be her forever man.

Veda

Why is there an unknown nagging inside me?

I looked at the painting of my mother's baby shower ceremony that I had drawn from the picture which Darshana sent me. I don't know whether it's because I have drawn the picture of my mother after over a year and a half or something else. But the nagging has been there ever since I finished the picture. I placed the painting near the scanner at the workshop near the sanctum and came up to the living area.

The doorbell rang and I checked the wall clock that displayed exactly ten. I pulled up the hoodie and went to open the door. Darshana was standing there with Girish and I opened the door wider for them to enter. Darshana stepped in smiling at me but her smile didn't reach her eyes.

"Enna inaiku rendu perum onna vanthu irukeenga?" I asked them as I closed the door.

"Ashok thaan konja naaluku Darshana inga varum pothu ennai eppavum pick up um drop um panna sonnan." Girish replied and walked towards the dining table.

"AEH la ethachem problem ah?" I asked Darshana.

"Neengalum Hridhay um pesikathenga aana oru chinna hint vechu rendu peru life la enna nadakuthu nu mattum nalla guess panunga." Darshana twisted her lips and crossed her arms looking away.

"Okay. Anga enna prechana nu enaku theriyavendam." The reason I'm huddled in this house is that company. "But Hridhay pecha aachum ketu unnoda safety la konjam careful ah iru." She nodded her head. "Saptacha?" I showed my hand towards the upstairs and we walked side by side.
