Wow! This is amazing!

I slowly descended touching the soft soil beneath me. Curling my toes in and than out to get a better feel. Mana really is amazing.

Even the grass looks greener. The wind brushed against my face, blowing through my black hair. I can almost feel everything. I couldn't help but shudder as the feeling overwhelmed me.

"Virion!" My mother ran towards me with a confused Ellie in her arms. She then embraced me in a warm hug which I reciprocated. I felt something wet trickel down my shoulder.

"Mommy! Dhon't chry!" Ellie patted mother's head. She tried to calm our mother down.
We stayed like this for awhile. I could hear my father's footsteps in the distance, even his ragged breathing.

"Hahaha. I can't belief it!" My father exclaimed. He jogged down the stairs, decreasing his speed as he neared us.

He fell down on his knees, joining the hug.

"He's 3 years old, Reynolds! He can't possibly have awakened already. If you're going to lie at least make believable." Uncle Vincent yelled.

"I'm not lying. I'm dead serious when I'm saying this. The implosion generated by his awakening was the cause of your backyards current state." my father defended his stance.

A few minutes passed as the two continued to quarrel. Uncle Vincent than gave up and accepted it.

"What a talented child. " Tabitha looked at me with awe. Meanwhile Lillia had a down cast expression.

"Even those snobby noble brats at Xyrus Academy awaken at the age of 10."He helplessly talked to himself.

"I need a drink."

We were in the dining hall. Uncle Vincent and my father were quite tipsy. Or perhaps drunk? I don't know since I haven't experienced it myself... Maybe when I'm a little older.

"Do you realize what kind of talent your kid possesses? Huh, Rey? " Vincent asked.

"Of course. Ever since the day doctor told us." He proudly proclaimed.

"What did the doctor say exactly?" Vincent's interest was now peeked at Rey's revelation. Since he knew that there's no freakin way you can determine if your kid will awaken as a mage especially from birth.

"Well..." My mother than recounted the events that lead to my birth. The atmosphere was getting somber as she continued on.

"I see..." Tabitha responded.

"Well it's getting late everyone. Virion is probably tired from his awakening so we're gonna head to bed earlier tonight." My father tried his best to ease the atmosphere.

"Yeah. Goodnight."

We exchanged greetings.

After my parents left, I sat upright in my bed. Like always I checked on Ellie to see if she is indeed sleeping.

I then folded my legs over one another, my hands resting on my thighs, I delved into my sternum. Not literally though.

There it is. My mana core. I can feel it... but something was strange...

Why am I already at the dark red stage? Shouldn't it be dark dark?

Is it because of the interference of my mana heart? When Arthur explained the stages of the mana core and it's purification process, he had mentioned that the mana core starts of black due to the body's blood and other impurities mixing with the mana.
