Yeron’s POV.
Mabilis kong kinuha ang cellphone ko nang mag-bep iyon habang nakatingin sa mga bampirang naglalakad upang bantayan ang kanilang lugar. I am in the middle of forest, spying our enemies. I just found out that this is their territory. And I know they are planning something. I can feel it. I need to stop them before my mate and my future child will get in danger. I will never let that happen.
My forehead creased when I saw it was Tito Knox. “What do you need?” Tanong ko agad sa kaniya nang sagutin ko ang tawag.
“Y-Yeron…” kumunot ang aking noo nang marinig kong nautal siya at tila ba ay hindi mapakali. Narinig ko rin ang sigaw ni Lavander na tila nasasaktan.
“Why is Lavander shouting?” nagsimula akong kabahan. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang nangyayari, but hearing her shouting in pain makes me worried.
“Y-Yeron… I think you need to come back… now.” Narinig ko ang paglunok niya.
“Why?”
“Lavander needs you. She needs your blood,” sagot niya. Tila na-gets ko naman ang ibig niyang sabihin.
“Alright,” tanging sagot ko bago pinatay ang ang tawag.
Lavander needs to drink my blood to survive from my child’s craving. Hindi kaya ng ibang dugo o pagkain para lumakas siya at dalhin ang aking anak for five months. Uubusin nito ang dugo niya hanggang sa manghihina siya at mauubusan ng dugo. That's why she needs my blood to support both of their lives. Kapag hindi ko siya mapapainom ng dugo ko ay pareho silang hindi mag-survive. And I won't let that happen.
