"Eliana Rose!" screamed my mom from the bottom of the stairs. "What!?" I replied annoyed at my mother's impatience. "You have yourself half an hour to have every piece of luggage packed in the car. With you in it!" I then heard footsteps receding from the stairs into the living room, indicating that she had walked away. I rolled my eyes and went back to packing the last of my things. I already had my travel bag packed that I would have with me in my seat, with everything I might need for this long and absolutely boring 35 hour move from Montana to Massachusetts.

Traveling was never easy with my family, especially because we don't do it often. Or at all... We have never really left the big city of Helena, it has everything we could need. Food, water, good houses.... air, and such. Its pretty cold though. Montana's definitely not a place to bring your bathing suit. The only good thing about the state is it has some pretty damn good hills to sled on in the winter. Even though I chipped a tooth going down a hill and literally eating a tree. But it will always be a good memory. I've made a lot of those here, and surprisingly, I don't want to leave.

I snapped out of my daze and realized I was completely done with packing. I quickly remembered that i only had thirty minutes to load everything up and be in the car, but that was 22 minutes ago! "Shit, shit, shit, shit, shiiitttt!" I said in a song-ish voice. I franticly started to carry suitcases down the stairs. "El. You oka- Shit Eliana! You're supposed to be done with that!" My older sister, Taylor, came into the room after hearing me almost tumble down the stairs to my utter death. "Well yeah no shit! Kinda found that out already!" i replied sarcastically. In five minutes i had completed my mothers demand, and with the very little patience i had left, i sat in the car and waited for the rest of the people i'm unfortunately related to. Around 6:45am we were on the road. I silently sat in the back and took in any last sight i could capture of the place I've lived my entire life in. My old elementary school, the hospital I've been to countless times, the playground i met my very first best friend in. Speaking of Dixie, i whipped out my phone and texted her.

I hadn't even realized the tears that began to gently fall down my cheeks. That girl meant the world to me. I hate the fact i'm moving and she's in another state and i cant say goodbye. I felt a little sleepy from waking up so early that i decided to take a nap. I slept for a good 3 hours before i woke up and noticed that i had to pee. I didn't see any exit signs as i scouted out for them. "Uhh, dad?" i said uncertain. "Yeah?" he said not taking his eyes off the road. "I have to use the bathroom." i answered. "Your joking right? We just passed the last exit we're gonna see for the next few hours!" he said. I spoke up after a minute and quietly suggested the only solution to my problem. "Um, i can just go on the side of the road, i guess..." The car fell silent. "That might be the only option." my dad said and pulled over. "Alright, be quick we don't want to be behind schedule." My mom said as i hopped out of the car and went to go find a tree that could give me the most privacy.

I started to do what i needed to do when i heard yelling. I shot my head around and saw my sister the one being loud. "I see London! I see France! I see Ellie's underpants!" "Oh shut up idiot! Its not like Jaxson hasn't seen yours! i retorted. Jaxson was Taylor's boyfriend of two months. I cleaned up and made my way back to the car. "So like, you and Jaxson, you know... did it!?" my mother said now angry. "I'm gonna kill that boy." dad said sounding like he really meant it. "Mom! It was ONE time! Geez!" We pulled back onto the road and the car was quiet until someone broke the silence. "We will talk about this later." my mom said to finish the conversation. Around 9:00pm we arrived at a hotel to stay at for the night. I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow.
