i could feel nick's eyes on me. i side eye him to see if he's looking. he was. "eliana, we need to talk." nick says. "uhm, alright." i say standing up. "well obviously not right now you dumbfuck!" nick screams. "let me fucking eat first!" he adds. i stood there with my mouth open but slightly smiling. i look at chris who is trying not to laugh because he knows it only going to upset nick even more. obviously i new nick was joking around, but he's never talked to me like that before. and it was funny. i look back at nick and he looks up. "WHAT" nick says loudly at me with a smile. i hear chris burst out laughing and i do too. "jesus." nick says rolling his eyes, picking up his plate and going up stairs. "someone's a little mad." i say looking back at the stairs. "is he always like this?" i say still softly laughing. "yeah pretty much." chris says shrugging.
(a few hours later)
"yall are the most idiotic people i know." nick says as me and chris laugh. we had drew mustaches on our faces with sharpie. "i know." i said smiling. "go wash it off right now." nick demands. "were supposed to be filming in like an hour remember? its tuesday." nick informs. i look at chris and he looks at me with raised eyebrows. we both start sprinting up the stairs to the bathroom. i reach the sink first and turn on the water but chris runs in and shoves me out of the way using the side of his body. i lose balance and fall over into the shower. i look up at chris who freezes, takes out his phone, and takes a picture. then he runs over to me and lifts me up. we both erupt in laughter as matt walks in. "are you oka- what the fuck..." he says and walks away.
weird. me and chris are looking at the door and i ask chris why matts been different lately. "i dont know. he's not usually like this." he says. we both wash off the sharpie and head back down stairs. i see nick and matt setting up a spinning wheel and a camera. "what the hell happened up there?" nick asked. "ellie fell into the shower." chris speaks up. "YOU PUSHED ME." i scream. he chuckles. "you wanna be in the video?" chris looks to me nudging me with his elbow. "uhh." i say checking the time. 5:52. "i cant i have to go. my mom said be home by six." i say. he frowns. "sorry." i say. "no its cool." chris says with a gentle smile. "hey guys i gotta go." i say to nick and matt. nick comes over and hugs me tight. "im gonna miss you." he says. "im probably gonna see you guys tomorrow it'll be fine." i say pulling away. i look over to matt who is writing stuff on the board. "bye matt." i say. "bye." he says blankly not taking his eyes off the board. i give a confused face and leave their house.
later, i walk into my room and grab some gray sweatpants and one of taylor's shirts. i walk into the bathroom and take a shower. after my shower i flop on my bed and cuddle up to my blanket. then i check my phone and get on instagram. no way.

i scrolled through the comments and laughed at nick's reply to one of the users. im glad he's sticking up for me. i decide to call him but i hesitate. he's filming. nevermind. i decide to call dixie instead. when she picked up she didnt sound right. and she looked pale. "are you okay?" i asked her. "yup. totally fine." she said with a thumbs up. "only just threw up like 7 times." she added sarcastically. "WHAT?! what happened? is it food poisoning? virus? ...saw your ex again?" i said then gasped. "ARE YOU PREGNANT?!" i screamed into the phone. she laughed but told me none of that was what was happening. "soooo?" i said. "well i had my doctors exam today..." she said and hesitated. "uh-huhhhh" i said try to urge her on. "well it turns out i have a brain tumor.." she said. i was silent. "what's gonna happen?" i finally spoke up. "if it doesnt get removed soon, i could cause brain strokes. and sometimes, if the strokes are really bad, it could kill me." she replied. holy shit...
