~Astrid's POV~
As Hiccup hugged me tighter and tighter, I started to feel Merida's glare grow darker and darker. Soon I saw tears falling out of her eyes, she then ran out of the room into the front yard.
Hiccup doesn't seem to care at all and gripped on me tighter. "Hiccup.." I said in a faint whisper
When I looked at him he was smelling my neck as he looked at me with his emerald green eyes
He was looking at me deeply waiting for me to speak "Merida.. she's out, crying" I said
He instead, closed his eyes and buried his face into my back.
"I'm getting tired of her.. I think I want to end our relationship" he said in a whisper that only the both of us can hear..
I flinched as he held me tighter and moved me closer towards him.
Punzie and Elsa on the other hand looked shocked, Jack was just staring at us while Heather, Snotlout and the twins stared at us quietly.
"Hic-c.. up, you really need to comfort her right now. She's still your girlfriend, she needs you right now." I said, still trying to convince him to move and go comfort her.
He still wouldn't move so I made my way out of his grip and slapped him. "I know that you're probably mad but think of Merida! How can you just leave her out there? Especially on her own!" I yelled
"Can't you see it Astrid!? She clearly doesn't love me anymore and preferred Snotlout to be her boyfriend! So why don't you you comfort her!" He yelled then pointed at Snot
I went to him then slapped him again. "So? You need to fix your relationship before deciding such a big decision!" I yelled back. He then held out the hand I slapped him with and pressed it on his swollen cheek.
"Can't you see.. that our relationship won't work..? Astrid you've always been there ever since you came into my life!" He said
"I know how it hurts, but you need to fix your relationship because you never know.. maybe one day you will regret the decision of ending your relationship one sidedly" I said in response
"Hiccup, you can't let anger control over your mind and decisions! Fight it, talk to her!" I yelled, when he came back to reality he looked at me then mouthed a thank you.
He then let go of me and made his way out running.
I followed him, just to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. When a woman is crying her heart could be very fragile at the moment so I wanted to make sure he doesn't say anything that'll break it more.
When I made my way out, I hid in one of the pillars and listened. I know that this is wrong but I just need to make sure he doesn't screw up!
"Mer.." Hiccup called out
I can hear Merida's loud sobs "What do you want?" She asked
"I'm sorry.. about what I did.." He started out
"But you have to understand, you were wrong too." He said, that could totally ruin his plan of fixing their relationship, but he isn't wrong
