Chapter 29: Finally Talking

-Hiccup's POV-

"Astrid Hofferson, she isn't a virgin anymore! That's because she lost her virginity to her Uncle!" Fishlegs ended the live immediately

"What the f- is wrong with you?!" yelled Snotlout

"What? You're really taking her side!?" Merida yells back

"Yeah! Astrid never and I mean NEVER-EVER did anything wrong! You're here exposing her dark painful past! You think just because she lost her virginity to her Uncle it's something to make fun of?! You are disgusting and I mean disgusting that I can't ever ever think of any other people who could surpass you because you're a literal sh*t who doesn't care about other people's feelings ! You are disgusting."

"And don't even think about saying that she exposed your dark secret because those two are completely different! She never even said a word nor did anything to even give a hint or clue but you-- you said hers directly, to thousands of people!"

"What about mine? Thousands of people, even higher numbers than hers have seen that video!" Merida says

"Are you stupid!? She doesn't have a video! She hasn't held her phone in the past 24 hours because of Heather's accident yet you're here blaming someone else for something that she didn't do!" Snotlout replied

"Yeah, you all blamed Astrid for breaking "girls code" even though she didn't! And shouldn't you be mad at Merida because she CHEATED!? Hiccup is your friend too! She's the one who's wrong not anyone else!" Ruffnut says

"Yeah no, they're just really stupid to even think before taking action. Merida is in the wrong since she clearly cheated though I'm pretty sure you had the option to decline and you didn't and did the deed with someone else not even thinking about the person you likes feelings which by the way isn't Hiccup because it's obvious that it's Snotlout! It's crazy because she has a boyfriend Hiccup but likes Snotlout yet she did the deed with someone else!" Tuff says

"Exactly. And I would never even think about liking someone like her." Snotlout says coldly with dead eyes

"I'm sorry Cous.. but it looks like you and Merida would break up sooner than we think but as for now that she's still your girlfriend.. educate her about not blaming someone else for something that they didn't do while you tell the whole band about changing their point of view, or cut them off because they only seem to like and cars for Merida." Snotlout says and looked at me before leaving with Astrid along with Fishlegs and Ruffnut

"Hiccup, if you ever want someone to talk to you know my number.. but for now, I'll give you all some space" Tuffnut says and left

Taking a deep breath I stepped forward and held Merida putting her back on the bed where she fell while breaking down and having an argument "Babe..."

"Let's break up." I say

"What? Wait, please" she pleaded

"You clearly don't love me anymore and I don't think I feel any indifferent to how you feel. It was stupid of me to keep turning a blind eye not only to your actions but along with mine and my feelings. You like my cousin? I like Astrid. Let's talk things out right now, let's say our goodbyes because after this conversation, we're done." I say firmly while Merida shakes her head

"No.. don't say that" she sniffled

"And for the rest of the band. I'm going to have a hard time trusting new people coming in my life because of you all. So disappointed in you. You have fully ruined Astrid and our friendship with them, how will Heather react to all of this? Astrid, she suffered from something traumatizing, humiliation, loss of trust and even friend. She is holding in so much pain yet you're here.. we're here adding more to her problems that it's.. unpleasing. We say that she's our friend yet in times of need we turn out back against her?... I'm disappointed in you and myself for letting this happen while doing nothing."
