"Are you done eating?"

People gathered around the display, marveling at the talent and determination of the children. Many were moved to tears, touched by the bravery and hope reflected in the drawings. It was a powerful reminder of the impact we could have when we come together for a greater cause.

Sky and I joined the crowd, admiring the artworks and engaging in conversations with other attendees. The atmosphere was filled with empathy and a shared desire to make a difference. It was heartwarming to witness the collective compassion of the community.

Throughout the event, various activities were organized to raise funds for the charity. There were auctions, raffles, and performances by local artists. People generously donated money, services, and goods to support the cause. It was a testament to the kindness and generosity that existed within the community.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude and fulfillment. The charity had become more than just a fundraising event,it had become a platform for people to come together, connect, and uplift one another. It was a celebration of humanity's capacity to create change and bring hope to those in need.

As the day drew to a close, Sky and I headed back home, our hearts filled with joy and a renewed sense of purpose. We reflected on the impact of the event and the importance of continuing to support the charity in any way we could.Nagpaalam na si Sky dahil may kikitain pa daw sya. Nakita ko si Lucian sa sala using his ipads at may tinitingnan.

"Hi" bati ko sa kanya nilingon niya ako at tinaguan. " I hope your day went well," I continued, trying to initiate a conversation. "The charity event was amazing. The children's artworks were truly inspiring."

Lucian glanced at me briefly before turning his attention back to his iPad. "I'm glad it went well," he replied, his tone guarded.

I decided to take a more direct approach. "Lucian, I understand that you need your space, but we're married. We can't continue to avoid each other like this. We need to face our issues and work towards rebuilding our relationship."

He sighed and closed his iPad, finally giving me his full attention. "I know," he admitted, his voice tinged with resignation. "But it's not easy for me. I've been hurt before, and I'm not ready to accept you easily specially that we start in decisions of others"

I listened attentively to Lucian's words, understanding the weight of his past experiences and the challenges we faced. Taking a deep breath, I gathered my thoughts and responded with empathy.

"I understand that you've been hurt, Lucian, and I'm sorry for the pain you've endured," I said sincerely, reaching out to hold his hand. "But we can't let our past dictate our future. We have the power to create a different path, one filled with trust, love, and understanding."
