"Nana umalis na po ba si Lucian?" Tanong ko kay Nana Carmen. Alas siete na kasi ako gumising and hindi rin ako papasok ngayon for some reason.

" Oo ija, kanina pa" sagot ni Nana Carmen habang busy sa ginagawa niya.

" Wala po ba kayong naalala ngayon Nana? " Umiling iling si Nana kaya nginitian ko siya at umakyat sa taas. Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at nakita kona agad doon ang chat ni Sky. Talaga namang gising sya sa 12 ng madaling araw ah!

Happy birthday dear, susunduin kita sa morning 9am

7am pa naman kaya nag basa lang ako ng mga greetings mula sa mga Facebook friends ko. The messages made me feel loved and grateful for the connections I had in my life.

As I scrolled through the notifications, memories flooded my mind. The previous day's foundation day celebration with Lucian replayed in my thoughts. I recalled the support we had for each other, the moments of joy and connection, and the shared dreams we held. It had been a remarkable day, and I was grateful to have experienced it alongside him.

I open his official account at nag post ako ng mga picture nung nasa parade. Nag post din ako -separate ng picture nung nasa park kami with a caption of  'Governor Lucian Arthuro #supporting local' kahit kaka post lang iyon ay marami na agadang nag comment at nag share.

Ipinagtaka ko talaga kung bakit wala man lang balita tungkol sa kanya kahapon, iyong mga sweet gestures niya sa akin like holding my hand, bumulong at iba pa.
Anong ginawa niya? Impossible naman ng walang makita sa amin dun.

Naligo nalang ako at nag prepare para sa hangout namin ni Sky. Iyon talaga ang plano namin. Pero hindi nawala sa isipan ko na umaasang may mag celebrate sa aking birthday sa bahay namin ni Lician.

"Heyyy zupp dearrr, here's my birthday gift for you" lumapit siya sa akin at nag beso beso. She raised a paper bag filled with branded clothes. "There's more in there. You should call your maids for some help."

Nung nasa mall na kami ay sari saring mga make up ang binili ni Sky para sa akin. Sabi pa niya ay tutulungan niya ako kung pano mag make up.

"Enough, Sky," I finally stopped her as we approached the clothing stores in the mall.

She chuckled and nodded. "Alright, let's focus on getting you some new clothes then."

We spent the next couple of hours browsing through different stores, picking out stylish outfits that caught my eye. Sky had a great fashion sense, and her suggestions were always on point. As I tried on different outfits, she offered her opinions and complimented me on how each one looked.

I couldn't help but feel grateful for Sky's presence on my birthday. She had gone out of her way to make me feel special and loved. However, thoughts of Lucian still lingered in my mind. I wondered where he was and why he hadn't reached out to me yet. Despite the excitement of shopping and spending time with Sky, a part of me couldn't let go of the hope that Lucian would surprise me and join in the birthday celebration.

After we finished shopping, we decided to head to a nearby café to take a break and para kumain narin ng snacks.Diet kasi itong si Sky. Sky carried the bags filled with our purchases, kasalanan naman din niya kung bakit ito madami. She was considerate and attentive, and I appreciated her efforts to make my day memorable.

As we sat in the café, sipping our drinks and sharing light-hearted conversations, I couldn't help but check my phone for any updates. There were countless notifications from friends and well-wishers, pero wala kay Lucian. I felt a tinge of disappointment but tried to push it aside, focusing on enjoying the present moment with my dearest best friend.
