Elena was now a vampire and when I was at the Salvatore house Elena came and said

"I know you compelled me" "what?" "The memories came back"

"oh I'm sorry but I just wanted to know if you knew my sister" "it's okay"

Stefan came in and said "Elena are you coming?" "Yes"

"where are you two going?" "I'm helping her to feed".

It was going to be a funeral today and when I came there everyone was already sitting down.

I sat next to Caroline and Tyler. The mayor held a speech and asked who wants to have a speech. It took some minutes and then Elena stood up and walked up on the stage. Damon later came in and sat next to Stefan and they talked about Elena being on stage. Elena held a speech saying

"i.... When I talked to April earlier she was kind of nervous about.... Coming up to speak, and now I'm up here. Nervous too" Elena looked like she didn't feel good as she kept with her speech "the worst day.... Of loving someone is the day that you lose them".

I started to hear dripping behind me

"do you smell that?" Caroline said

Tyler said "blood"

"nobody move.... Don't turn around, it's a trap" Damon whispered.

Elena started to breath heavily and look up where the blood came from, Stefan got up and helped her down to her seat again.

Everyone was going to stand up and as the choir sang. Stefan held Elena and she said

"Stefan the blood.... I can smell it"

"it's alright remember what we talked about. Focus, push back . Come on you can do this"

Matt then asked what's wrong and Stefan told him it was the blood.

They all then talked and Matt said she could feed on him and make it look like they hug each other.

Tyler got up on stage and said

"excuse me. I just wanted to say a few words about Pastor young" everyone then sat down.

"Back in first grade I was a brat who couldn't be bothered with team sports, didn't care much about anything that didn't affect me. But he made me understand how important it is to be part of a team, a community, giving yourself up for the sake of-"

as he said someone shot him in the chest and everyone screamed and ran out.

We ran to Tyler and Caroline took out the wood stick.

"I'm gonna kill that bastard" Tyler said

"Damon is way ahead of you, stay here I have to help" Stefan said to Elena

"what about April?" Elena said worried. Me and Elena got up to April who was bleeding a lot and Elena got her vampire face and tried to ran towards April as I grabbed her arm

"Elena you can control it, she's your friend and she's not dead but if you feed on her she will die"

Elena got calm as her vampire face disappeared.                  

I bent down and gave her my blood. April woke up

"please don't hurt me please" she said in panic

"no one is gonna hurt you" I said calmly

I was about to compel her to forget when Caroline came and said

"no let Elena do it" I stood and stepped aside
