The forbidden love

Christmas disaster

My hair was flying around in the air and suddenly it all goes away and the winds normally again.

"So that was a interesting windstorm" Bekah say lifting up the man

"Let's forget this happened and you were walking on a walk and everything was like normal" Rebekah gives him blood

"Here's the headphones" I say handing him them

"Thanks" he puts them on and keep walking.  

"I don't think this was a normal storm. It's something else"

"Like what" she looks concerned at me

"Magic, something powerful or...someone" I realize where this is going "someone powerful like...Kai".

"And who's Kai?"

"He's a psychopath. A witch who wants to kill his own sister for a ceremony"

"Aren't you into that?"

I gave her a death stare "no...me and Kai WERE friends...not anymore"

"So...what has he done? I mean why would he use so powerful magic?"

"Cause Damon and Alaric has him and he's probably free now".

We stood there looking around waiting for another windstorm but instead I felt something cold touching my head

I looked up seeing snow.

"At least it's snowing...some Christmas spirit" She smiles

I smile back and our eyes meet when my phone got a message

It was Stefan "hey Caroline knows about her mom's situation. Could you come and maybe help us cheer her up"

I replied "yes of course. I be there in 20 minutes".

I looked up at Rebekah "I'm sorry....it's Caroline she just got to know that her mom has cancer"

"No problem....I need to fix some things so I need to go anyways"

We walked different directions and I made my way to the hospital. Whitmore medical.

I came in seeing Caroline and Stefan sitting on a bench and Caroline had tears in her eyes looking at me

I made my way to them and I sat down beside Caroline

"It's gonna be okay" I hugged her and she cried in my arms

I made eye contact with Stefan and his face said things to me. Both me and Stefan knew that this would break Caroline...that she can't take it.

We stopped hugging and Caroline wiped away the tears

"Caroline....you still have time you just need to be there for her"

"My mom can't die"

"I'm sorry"

"But what if we have a chance. I can just give her vampire blood. Stefan don't think it's possible but you do...right?"

"Caroline..-"

"It's possible right" she said more aggressive

"I...- I don't know. If it would be possible...shouldn't we already known that by know?"

Caroline's tears ran down her sad face looking at my eyes

It felt like I took away the happiness of a little kid...it felt awful to not think it was possible.

"She need to make it...she's strong. She can't die...not on...Christmas" care says

I slowly close my eyes and everything was black as I was in my own little world

I opens them slowly seeing Stefan having Caroline in his arms crying

Stefan's eyes found mine and his was filled with tears running down his face

I felt how my sore throat struggled to swallow to hide all the pain. Caroline's mom dying feels like when I found my mom dead.

Stefan nodding at me got me out of my thought and I realized I had been staring at nothing and Stefan had seen me so he nodded as a signal that it's okay if I need to go

I wipe away the tear in my eye that hadn't fallen down yet and walks away to the restrooms.

I fast came in and closed the door behind me resting my back on the door

"Why am I so goddamn emotional" I say to myself making my way to the basin to look myself in the mirror.

My cheeks had two black stripes of my mascara, I take a peace of paper making it wet and wipe it away.

When I was done I felt my phone vibrate, I picked it up looking at my screen. It was Stefan

"I walked home and I think Caroline is with her mom just so you know. Hope you're okay" he messaged

I smiled biting my lower lip feeling more happy replying  "Thanks".
