I know most of you people are in love with the character of Murtasim khan. So I thought about writing an original character which I thought will look interesting with Murtasim although I really liked Meerub but I just want to write this to satisfy m...
Maa begum: "theek hai, Mariyam tum serena aur meerab ko andar le jao." Maa begum stated rather furiously.
Meerab: "main kahin nahi jaongi." Meerab being Meerab.
Waqas: "serena... Tum meerab ko andar le jao, please..." He was littrally pleading and serena couldn't deny the person who always completed her every wish without any question. Serena took meerab's wrist and said.
Serena: "Meerab abhi chalo please..." Meerab Couldn't dismay the look in her eyes, she went with her sister without another question.
Maa begum: "toh ab kyun ki Anwar ne apni manmani kar he dihai toh ab hum kya keh sakte hain?" She taunted visibly annoyed.
Maa begum: "Ab hum iss ghar main barabar hissa rakhne wali ko kisi aur k hawale toh nahi kar sakte... Issi liye main aaj tum sabh ki moojod gi main Murtasim aur serena ka rishta te karti hon aur ye shaadi issi hafte hogi!" She ordered this even though she wanted meerab to be his son's wife as she was their own blood but Anwar's decision didn't left any choice for her.
This decision made waqas and Anwar's face wash with relieve while Anila and haya's face showed shook and grief respectively. Anwar and Waqas looked at each other with a knowing look which didn't went unnoticed by Maa begum. Murtasim also entered the scene still kinda shook and confused at the announcement which happened at the birthday scene.
Maa begum: "meerab yahan rahegi jab tak ye shaadi nahi hojati... Akhir ko oss ki 'behn' ki shaadi hai... Aur jab tak ye shaadi nahi hojati tab tak waqas aur anila apni dono betiyon se nahi mil sakte." She again ordered. Murtasim got more confused if that's even possible. Mariyam and haya looked traumatized while Anila spoke.
Anila: "Nahi maa begum aisa mat kijiye... Waqas? Anwar bhai? Aap log kuch bolen." Murtasim felt bad for her but didn't said anything just like everyone present in the room.
Maa begum: "yeh meri shart hai... Aur agar tum log yeh shart pori nahi karna chahte toh phir meerab aur murtasim ki shaadi hogi." She said acknowledging the weak spot of waqas and anwar.
Waqas&Anwar: "nahi! nahi!" Both of them said panicking. They looked at each other and waqas finally spoke
Waqas: "theek hai maa begum hummain aap ki shart manzoor hai." Anila got shocked at his words again and now she had tears in her eyes thinking about her daughter.
Anila: "aap ye kya keh rahe hain? Aap- ye- Anwar bhai? Aap he kuch bole naa.. Murtasim? Murtasim tum he kuch bolo?..." She begged Murtasim felt soo bad looking at her.
Maa begum: "ab tum log ja sakta hai..." Waqas took Anila from there and went from there while giving anwar a last nod.
Scene shifted to serena and meerab both of them sitting in Anwar's room.
Meerab: "Akhir yeh log khud ko samajhte kya hain? Kabhi meri shaadi mujh se poche baghair karwa rahe hain, kabhi tumhari?" She said annoyed with everything.
Meerab: "aur papa? Onko toh pata nahi kya hoa hai?? Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha k woh yeh sab kar kyun rahe hain?" She said totally confused and frustrated. Serena, who's eyes were fixed at the floor in deep thoughts, now looked at meerab and calmly explained.
Serena: "woh tumhe bachana chahte hain bas... Onhe pata thaa k onhe kisi ek ko toh iss shaanon Shaukat se bhari haweli k naam karna hoga, Aur jahan tak baat hai Anwar cha-... Abbu ki toh woh bhi apna wada nibha rahe hain... Tum mujhse choti ho aur abhi toh tumhe apna khawab bhi karna hai..."
Meerab: "Aur tumhari job ka kya? Haan?" Serena was about to say something when Mariyam came in with a slightly guilty face.
Mariyam: "woh maa begum ne kaha hai k serena bhabi ka mun mitha kar waya jae..." Just then a maid came in with a tray trolley of sweets and that was the last thing for meerab to Berge out from the room pacing back and fourth in a random area of the haweli for quite some time but suddenly she headed straight to the hall and after entering the hall the first thing she heard was.
Murtasim: "aap mujhse poche baghair meri shaadi kaise te kar sakti hain?!" Murtasim said with a mix of frustration and anger.
Meerab: "aur aap serena se poche baghair oss ki shaadi bhi te nahi kar sakte!" Meerab retorted.
Maa begum: "kyun osse iss shadi se koi masla hai?" She asked calmly.
Meerab: "woh apni job kaise continue karegi?!" She asked with rage. Murtasim's head shoot up.
Murtasim: "kaisi job?!" He asked furiously.
Maa begum: "iss ghar ki baho ghar se bahar nokri karne k liye kadam nahi nikaal sakti, aur serena bhi yeh nokri choregi..." She said annoyed.
Meerab: "woh apni job nahi choregi!" She answered
Murtasim: "theek hai... Agar woh job nahi choregi toh main bhi ye shadi nahi karonga! Aur yeh meri shart hai..." He retorted with anger. Just then serena also entered the scene with Mariyam hearing the so called 'shart' of Khan Murtasim Khan.
She looked at Murtasim with a raised eyebrow. Murtasim's expression changed.

Serena looked at Anwar and his eyes were just pleading her to agree with everything. Serena looked down for a moment to think everything through and then slowly looked in Maa begum's eyes. Pure confidence dripping from her being.
Serena: "main khan Murtasim khan ki shart ko mante hoe, Iss shaadi k liye raazi hon." Her every word filled with confidence. Meerab looked at her with shook same goes to Murtasim while haya cursed under her breath but maa begum, Anwar and Mariyam were happy with her decision.
Maa begum: "Mashallah, mujhe apni hone wali baho se yahi umeed thi..." She walked near serena and patted her head and took off her ring, making serena wear it, she smiled at her and said.
Maa begum: "aaj se tum mere bete ki hone wali dulhan, aur iss haweli ki izzat ho." Haya felt a pang in her heart while Murtasim walked away.
SERENA's pov
Right now it was 10:30pm and I was sitting across from abbu. After all that drama ended I've some questions to ask.
Serena: "Toh aap meerab k kiya lagte hain?" I asked.
*FLASHBACK* When Mariyam came with the sweets she looked as if she wanted to tell me something. So I told her to tell me without any hesitation so...
Mariyam: "Mujhe lagta hai k aap ko yeh baat batana zaroori hai k Anwar chacha aur aap k baba meerab ki itni taraf dari kyun kar rahe thay... Maine onn dono ko baat karte hoe sona tha..." She said looking unsure.
