THIRD PERSON POV
There was so much hustle around the whole haweli. Maa begum choosing jewels and clothes and workers doing set up for the mayon reception here and there. At 8:00am Serena and meerab woke up from a knock on there door and as they opened the door two maids came in and started showing dresses to serena and were asking if she needed anything...
*scene shifted to maa begum and murtasim*
Maa begum: "Aaj main bohot khush hon kyun ki... Aaj mere bete ki dulhan ka mayon hai." She said smiling joyfully.
Murtasim: "maa? Aap kya kar rahi hain?" He asked annoyed with everything.
Maa begum: "kya matlab?" She asked clueless.
Murtasim: "matlab ye ki maine abhi iss shaadi k liye haan nahi ki hai..." He said looking in maa begum's eyes.
Maa begum: "kya matlab tumne abhi haan nahi ki? Tumhari shart ko pora karte hue serena ne shaadi k liye haan ki hai..." She said confused.
Murtasim: "Toh aap ka kya matlab hai ki woh haan karegi toh main haa karonga aur agar woh na karegi toh main bhi na karonga!? Kya meri apni koi marzi nahi hai?!" He asked frustrated.
Maa begum: "bilkul tumhari marzi hai. Aur hum sab tumhari marzi k he kail hai lekin, tumhe kisi se toh shaadi karni hai toh serena kyun nahi?" She explained and asked calmly.
Murtasim: "lekin serena he kyun?!" He asked grunting.
Maa begum: "kyun ki woh tumhari hum palra hai..." She said happily while Murtasim scoffed.
Murtasim: "hum palra? Kaise?" He asked sarcastically.
Maa begum: "poore khaandan main oss se zyada khoobsurat ladki shayad he hogi, poore khaandan main oss se zyada padhi likhi ladki koi nahi aur ab toh woh muwaeshi(wealth) k hawele se bhi tumhare barabar hai..." She tried to make him understand.
Murtasim: "bas? Ab sirf iss wajah se main oss se shaadi karonga?" He asked chuckling sarcastically.
Maa begum: "Sirf ye baat nahi hai woh Ek bohot achi humsafar Sabit ho sakti hai balke ab agar tum mujhse pocho toh oss se zyada behtar ladki tumhare liye kahi nahi mil sakti." She said smiling now realizing that serena is the best choice for Murtasim. Murtasim didn't said anything and just went away from there.
It was 11:30am when dua came at the haweli for her best friend's mayon reception she was soo confused at this sudden news of her best friend's marriage but she came anyways.
Dua: "Assalamualaikum..." She came in and saw Mariyam and haya.
