  Amber’s POV:

    The next day,

   The nurse gave me the meal and I really
don’t like hospital food, I mean it’s not bad but too healthy…. I was playing
with the food with my fork… Edward walks in and took the plate from me. I was
surprised. He passed me the bag and said, “Aunt Linda made you food.. eat
this…” I smiled, Aunt Linda cooks the best.

  I asked Edward, “did you eat…” he said, “no
but I have lunch meeting in 30 minutes…” I said, “you can have some with me… it
will be weird to eat alone…”

     Edward helped me open the food containers,
there is a lot of food and I am hungry. I see dumplings and I smiled. God! I need
something like this…

   I said as I put dumpling in my mouth, “this
is good..” Edward was just looking at me. I said, “eat one… there are so many…”
I fed him one and he kept chewing….

   he said, “Amber, you will be discharging in
the evening… I talked with the doctor….” I am happy to listen this.

   we heard a knock and door opened, Olivia
walks in.. I am already angry. she got flowers. She passed me the flowers and
said, “I am so sorry… I should have been careful… I promise I won’t be this
careless…”

    Edward said, “it’s fine… everyone makes
mistakes..” but this mistake almost cost me my life. and I am pretty sure she
did it intentionally, she doesn’t like me around Edward.

  Olivia said, “Kid.. I am really sorry… please
forgive me..”

 I said, “not kid…. Call me Miss. Amber or
Miss. Driver… ‘boss’ will also do… we are not close…” she looks shocked. Edward
was looking at me in shock.

    Olivia looked at Edward, I said, “you can
go now…..”

  Olivia said, “don’t be angry… I didn’t mean
to make such a mistake…” she is acting pitiful. I just put another dumpling in
my mouth, I opened another container and it has some fried rice, I am
completely ignoring her.

   Edward said, “Amber… she is sorry, she
didn’t mean to do this… it’s a mistake.. don’t be this rude, she is older than
you…”

    I said playing with the rice, “her mistake
almost took my life…. I know she did it on purpose…”

   Olivia said, “no.. no.. listen I didn’t… I
never do this on purpose…”

    Edward said, “yes.. Amber… Olivia is good
with her work… she never forgets things like this, this must be a mistake..”

   I looked at Edward and said, “she remembers
everything but forgot about my deadly allergy… what a joke!”

   Edward said, “is this is how you talk to
people…. show some respect…” he got angry. I just kept eating and trying not to
cry.

Edward said, “Amber…
say sorry to Olivia…” I avoided looking at him and kept eating.. Edward asked
again, “Amber…” he warned.

    Olivia said as she touched his shoulder,
“Edward… it’s fine… she is still teen… she is angry… it’s fine…  I will leave..”

   Olivia said to me, “I am sorry for my
mistake…”

 She walked out. I want to fire her… she did
this on purpose and now acting innocent… even Edward believes her…
