    Amber’s
POV:

   I had a nightmare again, I as sweating as I
got up… I looked around the room, it’s empty…. But how I got here… I was
shaking…. I switched on the lights and hugged myself as I sat up. After few
minutes the door of my room opened.

   I saw Edward, he was with his glasses… was
he working… Edward got close to me and asked, “I saw the lights on… are you
ok?”

    Tear rolled down as  I looked at him. Edward touched my cheeks and
said, “Amber… you had a nightmare again?” I nodded. he sat in front of me and
said, “sleep I will stay here…” I grabbed his hand and said, “don’t go…” he
nodded and covered me. I was still holding his hand and trying to sleep…. I am
scared, I don’t want to feel the terror again.. that was horrible…

   Next morning,

    When I woke up I was already alone. I got
changed and went to the dining area. I saw Edward making some coffee. I am
early so let’s make breakfast. I walked to him and said, “good morning.” I said
this softly.

  Edward looked at me and said, “morning…” he
sounds cold.

   He said, “we are ordering breakfast… if
you..”

  I added, “how about I make something?” he
looked at me and then said, “you can?” I nodded.

   He
walked to the table doing something on his phone and said, “ok then…” I went to
the kitchen and started cooking, I am making some sandwiches and eggs.. fruits…
I noticed he likes fruits…

  After I was done, I plated the food and said,
“let’s eat…” I sat in front of him and he took a bite of the food. I am waiting
for the complement but he never did….

He didn’t liked it….. I
continued to eat. my phone rang and I answered it, it’s Masson. I heard him,
“good morning…”

  I smiled and said, “morning, Masson…”

  Masson said, “I was wondering…. Can we have a
coffee together?.. I can also tell you what you missed out in these days in
college…” I smiled and said, “sure… where..”

  He said, “****** café… in 30 min… is it ok…”
I smiled and said, “ok… I will be here..”

  I ended the call and continued to eat my
food. Edward asked, “where are you going?”

   I said pushing my hair behind my ear,
“Masson is helping me with college so… I am going to meet him in coffee shop…
don’t worry I will be in office after I am done…”

   Edward said in instant, “is he good enough
to trust?... don’t trust him so fast…”

   I said to him as I got up, “I know… I lived
alone for years… I know how take care of myself…. bye…” I walked out house, not
caring about Edwards permission, he is not my parent…I don’t need his
permission.

  Edward’s POV:

                  I heard footsteps leaving the house, I didn’t
stopped Amber… even when I wanted to stop her desperately… why this girl is going
on dates with boys?

   I was glad that she cooked for me, but when
I saw her smiling on the call with Masson I got angry. she is meeting him
alone. I don’t want her to go… what is this feeling?

  I am afraid that once she got close to Masson
she will not come to me for comfort and warmth…. Like she won’t need to be near
her, take care of her… even though I want her to strong and independent but
someone else being her reason to smile is not what I want… I hate it…
