Chapter 8 Adagio's POV.

Minutes ticked by. One after the other. They seemed to be rushing away like water. Aria was slouching on the sofa.

"Maybe she's gone for good." Aria spoke into the silence. She sounded solemn when she said it, but that didn't make it any easier to accept. 

"No. She's not. She'll come back. She has to. She has no where else to go." 

I hurt all over. It was three in the morning and my eyes burned from staying awake for so long. Sonata pointed at her phone. 

"Aria's right. She's gone for good." Sonata looked close to tears. 

I grabbed her phone and stared at it. My heart was thumping painfully. 

"What does it say?" Aria asked

I tossed Sonata's phone. 

"No."

Sonata got up and hugged me. 

"You're wrong." 

Aria grabbed the phone from the couch and read the screen. I caught a glimpse of what I hadn't wanted to see again.
