By lunch hour, I took and finished another Midterm Exam out of boredom. Clicking the "submit" button, I closed my laptop and stretched my arms above my head, gaining a few satisfying pops.

Glancing at the time, I grabbed a manga off the shelf. Without working half the day at Chicken Breast I felt oddly bored— like I had too much time. Is this what In-School students feel like?

I dropped the manga with a jolt when my phone began to ring. After rolling my chair back to pick it up, I looked at my phone. Which was blank.

I furrowed my brows, and looked to where the sound was coming.

The neon red phone.

Slamming my book down onto the table, I picked up the cell.

"Hello?" I said, stumbling to hold it properly.

"Good day!" A deep voice on the other end chirped. "This is a neon red phone I am calling, correct? I believe it is mine."

"Yes!" I said, sitting straight. "I am (Y/N) Shann, a worker at Chicken Breast. I picked it up yesterday afternoon, and kept it in case you would come back to get it..."

"Why thank you!" He laughed, "That was very generous of you. So, should I visit the restaurant right now to pick it up?"

I winced, remembering the crowds in the restaurant. I was not emotionally prepared to enter the restaurant and be recognized from Neige's post again. "Ahh, I'm not sure if I can do today... the restaurant is very chaotic, too. Perhaps we could meet up somewhere tomorrow?"

He hummed. "This is quite a predicament. I need the phone back tomorrow evening, but I have clubs, among other duties. Heh, I'm such a silly little guy for forgetting my phone."

"Pardon..?" I only received a chuckle in reply. "Uhm, if you want, I can meet up today—"

"No, no, do not fret." He quickly interrupted. "It's my fault for leaving it there to begin with. I can ask my... friend to pick it up for me. Though, he has clubs today too. When would you be available tomorrow?"

"1:30 or later, preferably." I said, remembering the visit to NRC I have to make. Handing a phone during a rush hour would be early impossible, and Idia's words from noon did not help.

"Will 3:30 work? Perhaps at Sage Park?"

"Sounds good." I said, glad that it's working out. "Maybe I could meet him at the north entrance? What does he look like?"

"Yes, north entrance will do. He has silver hair— and he'll most likely be wearing the Disomnia school uniform."

"Got it. I'll be sure to be there."

He hummed. "I appreciate your effort. Blessings, young one."

I furrowed my brows at the name. "Yeah, no problem."
