(Hi 🥺✨️ welcome back here for another chapter, I hope that you are good, love you💗)

“Why should I come with you ?” Porchay asked, it was hard to walk after what they made him go through. He just wanted to stay on the chair.

Kinn stayed serious while the carriage was leading them to where the boy said the house was located. A place his father never talked about to him. He verified that the forest was theirs and it was adding doubts to his already wavering trust he had towards Korn. “I can’t let you die. You know, if I had let you they would either continue to torture you, even beginning the physical part, or they would kill you immediately. I think you have more information to give me than you did. You are safer here, even if it feels so hard to stay awake.”

"It's that I don't want to be suffocated…" Porchay said, making Kinn laugh.

"Why won't you tell me more ?"

"I don't want to make you feel like I influence you…" He answered, Kinn just nodding.

The boy was realizing how much he felt safe around Kim, now that he was with this man who could end his life in one second, his breath cut from the air, his heart stopping this beating which was more unstable at that moment. His hands were tied up, he was still considered like a hostage of that family. Porchay had plenty of time to look at Kinn and he couldn’t stop thinking about Kim. The sharp jaw,  the eyes, the big muscles shown under this shirt, his way of furrowing his eyebrows. Everything was reminding him of Kim, or he might miss him too much, or even be persuaded of that look alike sensation to the point to trick his own brain. It made him think that he really missed Kim.

He missed his voice. He missed his little talk after the day of work. He missed being around him. He missed his warm eyes when they stared deeply at Porchay. More than missing him, he was trying to keep Kim's precious existence in his brain, as close as he could in his heart because he became his will to survive, and he wasn’t sure to survive this situation. He was also worried for him, he wondered who was taking care of the boy, who told him how he reacted. His emotions sighed, he was more attached than he thought he would be.

The road to the house was long, much longer than the one he took, each time, to escape. He couldn’t resist the nap that took his mind away, not conscious, too deprived of sleep to think about fighting anymore. The shock was even more violent for the boy when he opened his eyes under Kinn's touch. The one making him shivers, putting him out of the only peace he had for too much time.

"I think that you will need to explain everything by yourself." Kinn said, letting Porchay go outside.

Devastation was welcoming him. The whole house wasn’t here anymore, or at least there was still the skeleton of it. It looked burnt and destroyed. There was nothing anymore. Nothing of Kim's clothes, Kim's habits. There was no proof anymore of what he claimed. No papers, no rules, nothing at all.

"I swear! I swear when we ran away it was here!" Porchay said hurriedly, turning to Kinn who looked at him, analyzing the boy.
