The eating human monster, as everyone called it, was a huge prison, far away from the centre of the kingdom, in the coldest side of it. It was described as the most terrible place to be. Two prisons existed, the usual one, not better but just a usual one, bad treatment, food and hard, but not different than what people could think when they heard the word prison. This one was different, feared in every way and so far away that every word, everything coming from that place was often turned into rumours, or legends.

“You…you think that he is…there?” Porchay asked after sitting on a chair, facing Kinn, the man who had just broken him and giving him hope at the same time. If there were signs of Porsche he might be alive, if he was in that place his soul might have already been dead. His heart ached more. Porchay was lost between the darkest part of his mind and the hopeful part, highlighted by a curtain of information he was unsure of wanting to open. The sun might burn him to hell or just warm his soul. There was no in between.

"I am sure…" Kinn answered, facing the questioning silence of the boy. " Through the process of working closer with the kingdom, I asked them this favour, they couldn’t refuse, us not ruling our group as if they didn’t exist is too good for them to refuse…they gave me the information…”

Porchay’s hands trembled. He had been years without thinking again about it, years and years, hearing his brother’s words, about hiding, that it would be alright, he would meet him where they knew. He had waited and waited and no one came. The boy only remembered clearly the back of Porsche running away and his children’s mind, persuaded that his Hia wouldn’t lie, he would be back. He breathed loudly, his brain beginning to throb in his head, it was panicking. He didn’t know what to do, could he just go there and take him or would he stay in this knowing but not able to save him state. Kinn understood his overwhelmed reaction and just continued.

“I negotiated his way out…you can go find him Porchay.”

“Can…I?” Porchay asked, his eyes already shining, he already looked better and calmer. He had not only information but the whole hope to reach him again really close.

“You can.”

“Thank you.” Porchay whispered, biting his lips. He didn’t want to cry, not now. It was still too close to a dream or a nightmare for him to allow himself to break down.

“What’s happening here?” They heard Kim’s voice behind them and they saw Star running to his food and water special place in the kitchen. Tankhun had already adopted the small kitty too.

“No-nothing.” Porchay turned to him and smiled. Fake, so fake.

“Don’t lie to me.” Kim pouted and sat down next to Porchay, taking his hand in his own, as always.

“We just found a way to find Porchay’s brother.” Kinn confessed and Porchay shockingly looked at him, as if he didn’t want Kim to hear about this. Kinn’s eyebrows were furrowed, he couldn’t understand this reaction. It had nothing of a secret, nothing at all.

“When are we going?” Kim asked, excited, his moth resting in a thin line but his eyes shining.

“I am not sure…that you should go…” Porchay hardly whispered. He wanted, he was desperate to have Kim with him but he also knew that it was at least three days of a trip and he had no will in taking the boy from his home for this long. He just came home,he just came back. He had seen how Erika hugged him so tightly as if he was a wonder, the ways he also looked at Kinn and Tankhun. He had witnessed how Tankhun was delighted about his younger brother, how it had been a shock to lose his father even if he hated him. How he was in a sad bubble and how each time he was talking with Kim this one seemed to explode. Porchay didn’t know what to do but he just felt that it would be wrong to suddenly try to push away from his house the one who had been struggling to come back all his life.
