Hurt ~ Chapter Seven

"BARNEY!" Bakugo shouts. For the second time today he was rushing towards me.

"Oh- hey did you need any-" I was cut off.

"-thought you should know I won't be coming to training today." He explains with a slight nod then glances back to his friends.

"Oh, okay... taking a break? It's good to let yourself rest sometimes."

"No, figured I'd train alone with the sports festival being tomorrow." He adds, walking away without another word.

As I watched him walk away and back to the table his friends were at I couldn't help but blame myself. Was his decision because of how I acted this morning? Probably...

"You have been training with Bakugo Katsuki and didn't tell me!?" Hayashi asks from my side, "I guess that explains this morning."

"Yeah... my dads idea." I shrug, "Let's get some lunch."

Bakugo POV

"And that's how I know he likes me!" Dunce face proclaims as I sit back down.

"Who?" I ask, mostly looking to Jirou as she seemed to be the only one here with basic common sense.

"Shinso apparently," she rolls her eyes. Jealousy? Maybe, or was she just fed up with Kaminaris idiotic stories. Either way, i found myself feeling the same.

"How many times have you held a conversation with Barney?" I ask, glaring at Pikachu.

"Who the hells Barney?" Sero asks, sitting down next to Denki at the table.

"Shinso Hitoshi, the one from class C," Jirou explains again.

"Enough to know I'm his type!" Dunce face pikes up, becoming slightly defensive.

"Damn Kamibro, who is it?"

I glance over my shoulder to see shitty hair walking towards us. He sits down next to me with a soft smile.

Jirou sighs deeply which I can't help but smirk at, "Shinso, purple haired kid over there with Hayashi Mai."

Kirishima turns around to see who we were talking about, "Oh! So, you dating or what?" He asks, turning back around and smirking at Kaminari. As much as he thought he hid it well, Kirishima was so in love with the walking highlighter that anyone could see it.

"WHAT!? No!!! But I think he's going to ask me!" He replies, going into a daydream state of mind while watching Shinso from a distance.

As they kept blabbing on about how "cute" they would be, (Yeah, I know- cliche!), I couldn't help but feel angry... even aggressive towards him. Just because he had the idea that eyebags was in love with him. Why did I feel so annoyed? It was stupid of me really but I just couldn't shake the feeling!

"BE AGGRESSIVE! B-E AGGRESSIVE!"
I hear echoing through the cafeteria. That Hayashi girl and Mina were going over the cheer routine. Raccoon eyes had been at practice most of lunch so I assume she just got back and eyebags friend didn't show up.

Ashido came to the table, sitting down, "Ooo, who would Denki be cute with?" She asks with a mischievous smirk.

Everyone turns to Ears as though it was expected by now and, if I'm honest, it was! "Shinso." She states with an annoyed scoff then stands up, "I have to talk to Ms Midnight."

"Who's Shinso?" Ashido asks.

"Purple haired guy next to Hayashi!" Sero explains, repeating what Jirou had told him earlier.
