[ Park Moondae's POV ]

Instead of the MC, Youngrin walked up to the stage in front of us.

"The 20 participants who will complete the final stage, congratulations. Shall we congratulate ourselves?"

Despite saying goodbyes to those eliminated with snot and tears, the claps from the people around me were loud. It was only natural that their egos grew bloated after coming this far. But that wasn't what was important.

It was time to divide into the final teams, yet there was nothing on the stage. There was only a screen.

"First of all," judge Youngrin continued, "I'll reveal the song you're going to perform on the final stage."

The screen turned on, and a team of famous composers greeted us on display. To give a better idea of who they were, several cuts of familiar music videos passed to show what songs they've made.

[ The song that Eagle is giving to participants...We'll reveal it right away! ]

This was a song that would be included in the debut team's album, so it was sure to be good. As the song played, I knew instinctively that it wasn't the kind of song that would disappear from the music charts easily.

The problem was that I didn't know what the guide vocalist was saying. It sounded like mumble rap.

[ The title of this song is <Final>. And the lyrics...there isn't any! ]

[ With your creativity, please complete the demo version of <Final>. Fighting! ]

As the screen turned black, Youngrin took over again.

"Yes, the song is unfinished. The participants must write their own lyrics, complete the choreography, and attach a subtitle that suits the song. Arrangements are also possible."

I almost frowned.

No matter how successful the concept of self-producing idols was, how could they make it the final test?

"Didn't you see the production of the teams in the 3rd team match?"

What was certain was that Kim Raebin was a diamond spoon in this round.

"And the team you're going to make the stage with...is totally up to you."

"...!"

Youngrin continued with a small smile, "Form a team of up to seven people and proceed with the practice."

Immediately, Seungmin bumped his head against mine. His black hair slid down as he smiled.

"Moondae hyung, we can do it together, right?"

He wasn't the only one who called out to me.

"Moondae."

"Hyung."

Keun Sejin in seventh place and Kim Raebin in fifth also approached me.

The tallest one checked out Seungmin and Raebin with a smile. A dancer, all-rounder, and producer. It was perfect.

"Why don't the four of us do it together?"

"Yes!" Raebin exclaimed.

The agreement was reached in no time, but Seon Ahyun came to us hesitantly.

"Shall we do it together?" I asked.

The blonde's face brightened, and everyone else nodded without any objection.

2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 7th.

"Is this too much? We might get criticized for only friending those in the top ranks."
