Kotetsu uses the knife he had in his left pocket after Douma left and broke free from the rope that held him captive...
"Now... To get out of this tower... Maybe I can use my knives and pretend like they are the things mountain climbers use! And the rope comes in handy too!"
Kotetsu grabbed the rope and tied it around his waist and jumped out of the window after breaking the glass.
