Morning came with the unforgettable echo of her words from last night, the soft, heart-warming confession that woke a flutter in my chest.
As I lay in bed, reminiscing the sweet mirage of her laughter whispering promises of unspoken dreams and shared tomorrows, I could not help but surrender to a smile - wide, irrepressible, and a little bit goofy, perhaps, but genuine nonetheless.
The serenity of this morning somehow felt different, painted with the radiant hues of happiness and anticipation.
"Good Morning!" A soft voice coming from her.
" Good—...." Agad akong napaupo sa kama ng hindi sya ang makita ko.
" How's your sleep hon?" A playful smirk coming to my husband, here i am again. Pwede bang matulog na lang ng habang buhay? Atleast kasama ko sya roon hindi ang hayop na ito sa harap ko.
" You know that, your not going anywhere unless your with me right?" He ask, while unbuttoning his white polo. Damn, ngayon ko lang napagtanto na nakaposas na pala ang mga kamay ko sa headboard ng kama. Wala rin ako sa Mansyon. Dahil hindi ako pamilyar sa lugar na ito.
" Getting excited?!"
" FUCK YOU!"
" Oh, don't worry I'll fuck you so hard so you wont walk for the next days." He smiled darkly at me.
" Vhien stop!"
" Wala pa nga akong ginagawa." Kita ko ang nakakalokong ngiti na gumuhit sa labi nya.
Bawat hakbang na ginawa nya papalapit saakin ay mas kinakabahan ako. He's not my husband anymore.
" Tatlong taon na yung lumipas, pero bakit sya parin? Ako na yung asawa mo! Ako na yung nandito hon!" Tunog nagtatampo nyang sabi.
" Hindi ikaw sya!"
" Your right! I'm not her! Pero bakit sya parin?" I saw the sadness on his eyes telling those words. Pero wala akong pake, he's not the Vhien that i know before.
" Baby!"
Natauhan lang ako ng may maramdaman akong matalim na bagay na humahaplos sa leeg ko.
" SAGOT!" Sigaw nya. " Bakit sya parin?"
" Kasi hindi naman naging ikaw! At hinding-hindi magiging ikaw! So, Vhien stop doing this!" Mas naging matalim ang titig nya saakin. Hinagis nya rin ang kutsilyong kanina ay hinahaplos nya sa leeg ko.
" Your vulnerable now! Sinong tutulong sayo? Wala na sya, ako na lang yung nandito, kaya sa ayaw at sa gusto mo gagawa tayo ng milagro."
Agad akong napaiwas ng tingin ng hubarin nya ang suot nyang damit. Ramdam ko ang titig nya saakin habang hinuhubad nya ang suot nyang sinturon.
This place is hell, nasa lungga ako ng demonyo.
