"Midnight Memories" IS GOING TO BE AN ONLINE COMICS ON WEBTOON! OH! MY! GOOOOOD! 😭🥹🥳🤯

Hello Moonlights, long time no see, eh? Hope you all are doing great! So, like I've said, I mean screamed, at the beginning, "MIDNIGHT MEMORIES" IS GOING TO BE A VISUALIZED STORY ON WEBTOON! *screaming-crying-throwing up*

The thing is, Webtoon didn't send me an offer or anything. One of my friends, who's a terrific artist and whose works I've been fangirling over for years now, simply contacted me recently with an offer. She wanted to start a Webtoon story, and asked me if I'd like to be the writer (while she'd be the artist).

So I was like "duh, you bet" and then I was like WHAT IF we take "Midnight Memories" because I just knew that if there was someone I could trust with creating our baby Kai from zero, then that would be her.

After she read MM we confirmed the story and started to work on it right away!

It's still in the very early stages of production, I'm now trying to format it into the style of a Webtoon story, and she's working on Selena's visual now (we've just finished Kai OMG and he's too yum), but I just wanted to share my happiness with you all here first - my devoted readers who've been supporting MM and giving me and the story so much love for years now.

After all, this is YOUR book too, so I really really hope the news made you just as happy.

To make the Webtoon story true to the original I might need your help though. So, if you guys want a specific scene to be included in the story, I don't know, like a scene you'd like to see come alive, then please let me know in the comments. I'd really appreciate that.

I hope the MM Webtoon story won't disappoint you and that you'll keep supporting it on that platform too.

OF COURSE "Midnight Memories" is going to stay on Wattpad, FOREVER hahaha, you can't get rid of me and Kailena so easily, so don't worry about that.

Also, of course I realize how hard and responsible this is going to be, because I know that every one of you imagines Kailena, especially Kai, differently. As I've said in the very first part of this story, you can imagine the characters any way you like - it's your story, it's your imagination.

That's why I've never ever connected any actors or models to any of the characters, because I'm a reader too and I know how annoying and wrong it is sometimes.

But please keep an open mind and remember that not all Webtoon characters might be similar to what you've imagined. Keep in mind that I'm not trying to force an image inside your head or anything, but it's a webtoon story, a digital comics, so the characters and scenes should be suitable for the platform. You know what I mean, right?

Anyway, I promise you that Kai's just fireeeeee and I'm pretty sure you're gonna LOVE that version of him too. And let me not even start with how adorable his young version is.

Oh, almost forgot, we're also planning to translate the webtoon version into Korean, although this is still a little uncertain. But can you believe it? Selena choked on her strawberry cupcake when she heard the news, no kidding. I mean you know how huge kdrama fan she is, right?

So yeah, that's the news! Please keep looking forward to it and please, please, please show all the love you can to MM with your votes and comments and shares once it's on Webtoon! I will post an announcement and additional info once it's finally out! Still can't believe it omg!
