The Search History

I HATE math. I hated everything about it because I was not good at it, and math was difficult for me. I like challenging things except mathematics! But why does Croisx make it easy? It's mind-blowing how extremely intelligent he is in math and science fields.

He was doing a series of problem sets that God knows I can't answer!

He's not even using a calculator for pate sake! He will just stare at the problem he needs to solve for about five seconds before writing the answer on the paper.

Earlier, he drew a medieval building in the tracing light pad like it was the easiest illustration to draw.

Engineering is a difficult course to take. Hindi lang puro drawing, marami rin Math at Science na nakakabaliw! Gladly, I took Tourism Management! We had it back then, but it was one subject. Hindi katulad nang sa Engineering na may geometry, angles, physics, trigonometry, and too many to mention!

"Penny for your thoughts?" Croisx is looking at me with worry in his eyes. Hindi niya na hawak ang lapis pati ang kaninang papel na sinasagutan niya.

I pulled myself out of my own reverie and cleared my throat.

I shook my head. "Nothing. Anong oras ka matatapos dyan?" Tanong ko.

His eyes returned to the papers piled on the coffee table before looking back at me. His mesmerizing midnight gray eyes flickered into mine.

"I still have two problem sets. A-Are you feeling bored around me? S-Sorry. I-I should have answered these—" I leaned to kiss him on the lips to make him shut up.

"You're being talkative," sabi ko at umayos sa pagkakaupo. "I don't feel bored around you, alright? I'm just. . ." I looked at him and shook my head. "Nevermind. Go on, finish that so we can eat."

Hindi pa ako kumakain dahil kagigising ko lang nang kumatok siya sa unit ko para bisitahin ako. Hindi naman ako nagugutom. Maybe because I ate like a horse last night.

He puffed. "Do you want to eat somewhere?" he suggested.

"Yeah. Let's go back to your favorite Japanese restaurant. But this time, let's ride your Ducati."

He nodded a little. "Okay. I'll just finish this."

"Sure. Go on, focus on solving those," I chirped.

My eyes lingered on him, watching his every movement like I was watching my favorite movie. High bridge nose, perfect. Strong jaw, check. Thick eyebrows, cool. Flawless skin texture, exceptional. Lips that are naturally red and soft, delectable!

"I can't focus when you stare at me like that. . ."

I blinked and looked away when he suddenly looked at me. Geez! After a while, I chuckled halfheartedly. "Like what? Tell me how I stare at you," I asked in defiance.

He gulped. "L-Like you wanted to kiss me," he says, almost a whispered.

I faked an offended expression.

"I think my boyfriend doesn't like my kisses," madramang sagot ko. "Don't you like my kiss?" Tanong ko.

He shakes his head frantically. "I-I love your kisses! I-I swear, your kiss is the best!" He reached for my hand and squeezed it a bit, reassuring me.

I bit the inside of my cheeks, stifling a smile. However, it was too hard not to smile when a very adorable person was in front of me, looking at me like a lost puppy. I groaned because I just smiled so wide because he was too adorable!
