I couldn't move. Was she being serious? What if she didn't want kids? What if I was a horrible father?

"A-Are you serious?"

"Yeah, I am..."

"Addison, I-"

"It's fine if you want to leave me.."

"No, honey, absolutely not. But are you ready for this?"

"I think so...are you?"

"Yeah...I think I can figure it out...I just...I'm gonna be a father? Holy shit..."

"Yeah, holy shit is right"

"HOLY SHIT ADDISON THIS IS AMAZING!"

I got up out of my seat and hugged her

"So, we really do want this?"

"Yeah, I think we do"

She laughed a bit and pulled away to look at the apartment around us

"We're gonna need a bigger place"

The place we had moved into after the wedding was an apartment, not to far from where Josh bought a house, Sam and Jake were also thinking about moving, so it was gonna be a dogfight

"Let's just, keep it under wraps for a bit....just in case something happens.."

"Okay, hey, let's go look at that house close to Josh's that's on sale, the big green one we both liked?"

"Okay"

When we had gone to see Josh's new house, we saw this beautiful pale green home with a lot of natural light, a small pond with a fountain in the front, and a huge yard. We wanted the house as soon as we saw it, but we had no excuse to actually buy a house, now we did.

After a few hours we drove to the open house and looked around. Addison immediately fell in love with it, and so did I. It was incredibly spacious and had a gorgeous view in the backyard, which was also huge. We thought about it, then decided to just buy it. We told Sam, Jake, and Josh and they were all pleasantly shocked.....for the most part

"YOU'RE ONLY GONNA BE TWO HOUSES DOWN FROM ME?!"

"Yes, Josh, we will be....is that an issue?"

"No, no, not at all..."

"Josh is just being a pussy and won't admit it's because he doesn't want you guys to hear him going at it at three in the morning"

"Okay Sam, calm down"

Josh and Sam went into another room of Josh's huge house and argued for a bit, and Jake congratulated us on our decision.

"I think it'll be good for you guys, knowing what's to come"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, I'm not stupid Addison, I can tell that something is up, and I can make a great assumption as to what it is, so I have two things to congratulate you on, but don't worry, I won't tell the other two...anyways, beer? Well, for Danny"

"Yeah sure I guess"

It was odd that Jake just knew that Addison was pregnant, but Jake is just like that, he's always been able to read addison when other people couldn't. Addison laid her head on my shoulder, and I put my arm around her

"Feeling okay?"

"Yeah, just tired"

She laughed

"After Sam and Josh decide to grow up we can go home, how does that sound?"

"Perfect"

After 20 more minutes they finally came out of the other room like nothing had happened and Addison and I went home. We stayed in all night, just enjoying each other's company.
