The next day, he got up to make breakfast for her to eat while she was asleep. He entered the room, put the food on a bedside table with a note, and left. He changed his clothes and headed to work.
Moments later, she woke up and checked the time on her phone. She looked to her side and grabbed the breakfast table to eat. She noticed a note and wondered what was written.
She went to take a shower and changed into clothes. She relaxed in bed and watched a movie. As she was watching her movie, she felt bored so she called her friend.
"Hello", Zeina said
"Hi Ze", her friend replied
"How are you doing?", she asked
"Well, you left me to die. A kind man offered to help me and I'm living in his house bored. How do you think I am doing?" Zeina replied
"Once again I'm sorry. How many times do you want me to say it?" her friend replied
"I know you don't mean it. I want you to say it like you mean it" Zeina said
"I do mean it Ze" her friend replied
"No, you don't. I was going to tell you to come over but I changed my mind" Zeina replied
"Oh come on Ze we have been friends for life. If not for the illness you have you know I would come over" her friend said
"Lies lies and more lies," Zeina said
"I'm telling the truth. Why won't you believe me?" her friend replied
"I know you are lying".zeina replied
"I am not I swear" her friend replied
"Yes, you are. You know what I am not going to have this conversation with you. Bye" Zeina said
"Wha- ze hello ze are you there?" her friend replied
Zeina continued watching her movie and waited til Oz returned from work. As she was watching the movie she fell asleep. Moments later, he returned home wondering if she had woken up.
He went up to her room to check and noticed she was asleep. He grabbed the plates and left the room. He went to the kitchen and prepared lunch for her to eat in case she woke up later.
He went to take a shower and changed clothes. He put the food on the bedside table and left the room. He went to his room and took a nap.
Hours later, she woke up wondering if he had come back home. She looked to the side and noticed a new plate of food. She took the food and ate it with a smile.
She stood up and went to his room. She noticed he was asleep and was happy he was back. She went back to her room and continued watching her movie.
Moments later, he woke up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. He went to check if she had finished eating. Then wondered if she wanted anything else.
"Do you need anything else dear?" Oz asked
"No, but thank you. You're so kind to me. I don't know what I would do without you" Zeina replied
"I'm here for you honey," Oz said
"What did I do to deserve you?" Zeina asked
"You did nothing to deserve me dear. You are beautiful in your own way" Oz replied
"But I feel you chose me for other reasons" Zeina replied
"Initially yes but now I-uh how should I put this in words?" oz replied
"But what? Put what in words?" Zeina asked
"Well I want to say it but I do not want to scare you away" Oz replied
"How can you scare me away? Just say it" Zeina replied
"But I" Oz replied
"But nothing. Just say it" Zeina said
"Alright. Here goes. I'm starting to develop feelings for you" Oz replied
"You are?" Zeina asked
"Yes, I am. You are the first woman I've confessed my feelings for" Oz replied
"That is the best news I've heard all day". Zeina replied
"It is?" oz asked
"Yes, it is. I've been meaning to tell you my feelings too" Zeina replied
"You have?" oz asked
"Yes, I feel the same way you do. Just that uh" Zeina replied
"That makes me so happy. Just that what love" Oz replied
"Just that I was waiting for you to confess your feelings," Zeina said
He looked at her and smiled.
"I'm glad I did" Oz replied
"Me too" Zeina replied
"This is so wonderful" Oz replied.
"I think tonight I'm ready to sleep in our room," Zeina said
"Are you sure?" oz asked
"Yes I'm very sure" Zeina replied
"Alright," Oz replied.
They started feeling sleepy and climbed into bed. They hugged and kissed each other good night. They cuddled and went to sleep.
