~~~~~ Y/N's Dream ~~~~~
I was standing outside of the throne room in my castle. I could see my father pacing back and forth anxiously across the platform the thrones were placed on. He was wearing a robe of dark blue velvet lined with gold. His black boots echoed in the empty room and his crown shined in the light filtering through the windows.
My mother was sitting on her throne. Her bright blue eyes were pools filled with uneasiness. Her rose gold dress was laced with diamonds and pink quartz. Her lace sleeves were pink against the golden of the throne arm.
I recognized exactly when I had seen them wear this attire. My coronation.
"They have to come back," my father, King Wyatt. A name meaning "brave in war." It suited my father for he was a brave swordsman.
"I'm sure they will. I remember your coronation you were nervous too. Just give them time. It's a lot to take in ruling a whole kingdom all at once," my mother, Queen Madia tried to assure, but the crease between her brow said otherwise.
"I just don't understand!" King Wyatt exclaimed, dragging his hand down his face. "I thought we were good parents, what would ever influence our child to leave?"
"I'M HERE!" I shouted, walking to the open doors to the empty throne room, but what I didn't expect was an invisible barrier separating me from my loved ones.
They didn't seem to hear me and continued their conversation.
"I haven't a clue, they were so happy. I suppose it got difficult as Y/N got older," Queen Madia replied. She wiped her eyes which were tearing up. "I miss them so much."
My father pulled her off of the throne so he could embrace her in a warm hug. "It'll be alright," I heard him murmur. When they pulled away, tears had soaked my father's robe, and both their faces were wet.
"I-I'm here," I whispered.
~~~~~ Reality ~~~~~

I awoke with my face hot and wet. I must've been crying in my sleep. I sat up and saw Ava stomping toward the Cray-Ol-La wall door with a giant... quill with no feathers.

"Ava, what are you doing?" I asked, getting off the couch and making my way over to her.

"I just realized that I have a giant other-worldly portal to another room in my apartment and I haven't explored it," she answered.

"Makes sense, can I come?" I questioned, my F/C wagging happily.

"Sure, you can be my harm shield," Ava replied.

"I wouldn't have let any harm come to you anyway." I smiled.

Ava took my hand and pulled me through the wall with her.

We looked around. The golden exterior and fountain-filled architecture were more breathtaking than the last time I had laid eyes on it. I sucked in an awe-filled breath. Ava just looked determined, but I had no doubt she thought it was stunning too.

Ava let go of my hand and walked to the center of the carpeted floor. I followed. "When I see those idiots, I'm going to stab them with my stabby pencil and demand answers."

I laughed. "Very intimidating, Ava. You'll scare them out of their wits. And what's a pencil?"

"Ava'll explain later," she paused, "Ava isn't playing around this time. Why is Ava speaking in third person? Never mind."
