It's the next morning and Lydia, Teresa and Maddie are downstairs eating breakfast when Lydia gets a notification on her phone. She looks at it and says: "Kinsey died last night. She has the same wounds as Iris." Maddie asks: "Was it the same killer?" Lydia answers: "Probably. They still don't know who did it." Teresa says: "Why would someone kill them? They weren't mean to anyone." They finish breakfast and get on their bikes. They cycle to school and park their bikes in the bicycle parking. Allison arrives a few seconds later and parks her bike next to them. Maddie says: "Teresa, where were you yesterday? You weren't in school." Teresa says: "I was busy and I overslept, so I called the school and said I was sick." Lydia says: "Hey Allison. Did you hear the news? Kinsey died last night." Allison says: "Yeah, I heard. Oh, I got you guys something." She takes three silver rings out of her pocket and gives them to the others. "Thanks." Lydia, Teresa and Maddie say at the same time. The school bell rings and they walk to their class.
