While they attack the girl, someone is watching them. They don't see that person because they're busy drinking blood. The person who's watching them is called Zoey. She is a hunter and she's planning on killing Jade, Teresa, Maddie, Lydia and Allison. She's watching them drinking the girl's blood and when they're done drinking she goes out of her hiding place and throws a stake at Teresa. Teresa ducks and the stake falls behind her on the ground. By falling on the ground, the stake's point gets crushed. Lydia runs to Zoey and bites in her neck. Jade comes and helps Lydia. Zoey tries to stab Jade with her last power before she dies and she hits her. Right after stabbing Jade, Zoey dies. Jade takes out the stake, but it's too late. Splinters from the stake got in her heart. Lydia runs to her, kneels next to her and says: "Please Jade. Hang on. We'll get you safe." Jade says: "It's okay. You won't get me to the hospital in time." Jade closes her eyes. Lydia says: "No. Jade, don't leave us. Please."
