Our fight lasted for 2 weeks, for straight to 2 weeks we didn't talk, we were still eating together and sleeping together but I could feel the distance between me and Rylen. He's avoiding me, when he gets home ngingiti lang siya ng tipid at diretso kwarto na.

Space is what we need, I let him, if space is what he needs right now I will give it to him. Ito na siguro ang matagal na away namin, walang gustong mag-salita man lang, lagi kaming seryoso.

"We can't be like this in front of my parents," he said while driving.

I was looking at the window beside me. I didn't answer him, hindi niya na kailangan sabihin 'yon because I know that we have to pretend that we're okay since it's celebration tonight ng Business ng Mommy niya.

"Let's just pretend that we're okay," I said.

"Pretend, huh?"

I looked at him, he wasn't looking so I rolled my eyes. Do we look like okay? for the past 2 weeks, he still updating me while he's at work or doing something pero hanggang ngayon lang.

"We're not okay and we both know that, Rylen," I looked away.

Maraming tao ang nasa event ngayon. Tumahimik na lang ako habang nasa byahe kami until he stopped and parked his car, maraming sasakyan at nagpapasukan na ang mga tao.

"Let's go," he offered his hand.

I took a deep breath before I accept it. Everyone was busy drinking, my lips smiled a little when I saw his father. He tapped the man's shoulder bago kami puntahan ni Rylen.

"You two look so good together, let's go, your Mom is waiting," naka-ngiting sabi nito sa amin.

We were both smiling, forced smile. Pumunta kami sa isang bilog na table at nakita ang Mommy niya. I can't explain the relationship I have with his Mom, we're not close but we're not fighting anymore. She respects our marriage and I respect her as Rylen's Mom.

I smiled at her and kissed her cheek, wala naman siyang sinabi at hindi rin umiwas sa akin. Rylen went to his Mom to give her our present. She smiled a little and tap her son's back.

I looked around. I'm not familiar with people maybe because they're not from Politics, magaganda ang suot at mga ngiti nila, may kanya-kanyang mundo. This is not a party, it's more like a business meeting.

"I'll get you a drink," si Rylen.

"No, I can handle myself just stay here," I said.

He was about to say something when we looked at his Mom, she was looking at us, confused because we were whispering. Tumingin ako kay Rylen at tumango, hinayaan ko na lang siyang ikuha ako ng drinks.

"Your acting is awful, same with my son. If you want to pretend do it prefectly, masyado kayong halata na may away," sabi ng Mommy niya.
