Mishika was coming out of the police station lost in her thoughts about whatever happened and the new revelation of Robin .

She collided with someone and hissed rubbing her forehead.
She looked up only to find Abhimanyu.
Are you alright ....he asked looking at her keenly .

Jii,  ji Sir ....she said nodding her head .
Come with me ....he asked, entering his office and Mishika followed him inside .
I went to the hospital in the morning but we couldn't record Pooja's statement as she was traumatized by the incident...he informed,making her node .
He finds it quite odd seeing her so silent and lost in her own thoughts.
Is there something that is bothering you ....he asked and she just shook her head.

No, nothing...I was just thinking about Pooja ..she made an excuse.
Sir, what about the evidence. As we don't have proper proofs I am ready to be an eye witness. Although I only saw the car but only we two know this . I will tell the court that I saw them kidnapping Pooja ....she said and Abhimanyu  nodded .

Yes we will do that but we need to have some more solid proofs to get them punished .

I am sure their families will try for out of court settlement with Pooja and her parents or they might threaten them too .
As this is a high profile case we need some solid evidence...he told .
Hmmm....Cctv footage Mila kahi se aapko ....near the mall area or the hotel .....She asked .

PVR k exit p koi camera nahi tha and hotel vaalo ne delete kar Diya hai data . They said that the cameras were not working....He informed.

They are surely lying . Kya aap check nahi kar sakte warrent issue kar k ....she asked .
Hum check kar chuke hai . But they have cleared that database from the system.... Abhimanyu sighed .

Ab kya karenge hum log .....Mishika asked looking  tensed now . We can't let them go they easily....she said .

Don't worry. We will figure out something. Abhi humare paas tumhare or Pooja k statement hai for the first hearing.

Investigation ka thoda or time mil jaayega uske baad ...he informed making her put her forhead on the table due to exhaustion and fever.

Scooty mil gai tumhe ....he asked diverting the topic .
Ji Mil gai ...she showed him the keys.
So should I call them all who misbehaved with you yesterday....he said and was about to ring the bell but Mishka held his hand looking at him with wide eyes .

Nooo , I was just kidding yesterday. I don't want you to scold them .....she said .
She then realised that she was holding his hand and left it muttering a small sorry feeling a bit embarrassed.

Are you having a fever ......He asked dismissing her sorry as he felt her burning palms when she held his hand .
She looked at him surprised but then nodded her head .

Yeahhh a little bit ....she said looking at him with droopy eyes as she was feeling sleepy due to the effect of medicine.
Just go home and take some rest ...he instructed her .

Nooo I am fine , I just want to visit Pooja once ....she said standing up.
Mishika I would suggest you to go home . Pooja is with her parents and I don't think they will be happy to see you there ....he said looking away .

Mishika nodded remembering Pooja's mother yesterday's behaviour.
But I want to see her once .....She spoke meekly.

Come with me tomorrow. Abhi k liye Ghar jaao ...he said and she left after greeting him once again.
Abhimanyu sat on the Chair thinking why is he being so protective of her .

He come across many such people but he never behaved like this with anyone but her .
His phone ranged breaking him out of his thoughts.

He sighed seeing Shreya calling him .
She has been calling him from tomorrow for her brother.

According to her he is innocent and is being framed for money and defaming their name.
He rejected her call as he didn't want to listen to all of that again knowing how brat and spoiled her brother is .
He won't let him go just because Robin is Shreya's brother .

For him , he is just a criminal that deserves punishment and nothing else .

Here Mishika was thinking about the case  lying on her bed. The fact that all the offenders belongs to a rich family and they will surely try to twist the truth and will bribe people for favouring them was unsettling her .

She can't let them go this easily. She trusts Abhimanyu but he also can't do much without any strong evidence.
Her phone pinged and there was a notification from Instagram and she sighed putting it on silent .
But then she sat up with a jolt as an idea struck her mind .

She immediately called someone asking him to meet her urgently and got out of the bed to get ready .

Daadi I will be back in an hour ....she informed Gyatri who was busy doing her evening prayer.
Mishika took her scooty and reached the cafe .
She smiled brightly seeing the person in front of her and hugged him immediately.
I missed you Bhaiii.....she said breaking the hug.
