The students gathered in the school courtyard for another day of sports, the field buzzing with activity. Many students had not yet started their respective sports activities, with some still sitting on the bleachers and having some small talk. Among them were Sunghoon and Lily who were sitting next to each other talking about random stories that connected the two.

Taesan and Amy-Janett found themselves engaged in a casual game of tossing a ball back and forth, the rhythmic sound of their laughter harmonizing with the occasional thud of the ball.

Amy-Janett couldn't help but feel nervous as she approached the topic of the note she had left in Taesan's bag the previous day. With a playful smile, she tossed the ball gently towards him.

'So, did you read the note?' she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Taesan, a hint of shyness in his demeanor, caught the ball and nodded. 'Yeah, I did. It was...unexpected.'

Amy-Janett chuckled, 'Well, I figured it was time to cut through the awkwardness. I mean, we're practically inseparable nowadays.'

Taesan blushed as a sheepish grin formed on his face. 'I didn't expect you to be so direct.'

She shrugged. 'Why beat around the bush? Someone had to make the move.'

He chuckled nervously. 'Yeah, I guess so.'

'Why are you so shy?' AJ laughed. 'Shouldn't I be the one shy? I'm the one who wrote that embarrassing note.'

As they continued their easy game of catch, the conversation took a lighthearted turn.

Amy-Janett, with a mischievous glint in her eyes, remarked, 'So, since we've cleared the air, does this mean we're officially...you know?'

Taesan raised an eyebrow, feigning contemplation, 'Officially what?'

She grinned, 'boyfriend and girlfriend, silly. Or is that too old-fashioned for you?'

He pretended to ponder the question, then broke into a smile. 'Nah, not too old-fashioned at all. In fact, I think it has a nice ring to it. So we are official indeed.'

Amy-Janett couldn't contain her excitement. She knew Taesan would probably say yes, but still, she was nervous.

Sunghoon and Lily watched AJ and Taesan as they continued to toss the ball between each other and converse. The two couldn't help but smile at how sweet AJ and Taesan's relationship was.

'I hope that guy will finally say something one day,' Sunghoon said with a smile.

'I have a feeling AJ will be the one to say it first,' Lily responded like a prophet, but she knew her friend too well now.

'Really? You think AJ is courageous enough to confess to a guy? Most girls would never do that.'

'Yeah but...AJ is different from most of us remember? And that's both a good and a bad thing.'

As the pair continued to toss the ball, Jaehyun approached them quietly. He stood behind Taesan, near enough to surprise him the moment he spoke.

'Can I join?' he suggested.

Taesan jumped slightly then looked at Jaehyun behind him. 'Oh...sure, sure. You scared me.' He then turned back to his now girlfriend. 'So, how are we gonna play this?'

AJ smiled at Jaehyun, but there was a glint of malice in his eyes.

Slowly, Jaehyun reached into his pocket. Sunghoon was still watching the pair now turned trio, before he caught sight of something metallic in Jaehyun's pocket that immediately sent a shiver down his spine.
