She turns around and walks away.
"Jisoo. It's night. I'm tired. Where are we going to sleep?"
She stops and turns her head left and right before walking back and settling on the inside of a log.
"Here," she says finally.
I walk to the front of it and she has her head on her front legs and looking up at me expectantly.
I walk in and let down beside her, leaving a gap between us.
I lay my head down like her. "Goodnight Jisoo."
She turns her head to me.
"Goodnight Jennie."

"They're so cute! I mean look at them! Do you think they're together?"
"They're girl dogs. Do you think it works like that for dogs?"
"You're right. I don't know."
I open my eyes a little and I see my body and fur pressed against Jisoo's and our snouts are way too close.
"AHHHH!" I shout and stand up so quickly that I bonk my head on the top of the log. I bend my head and press a paw to where it's throbbing. "Ouch!"
Jisoo lifts her head and looks at the duck and chipmunk in front of us. "Hello?" She asks.
The chipmunk waves excitedly and the duck holds out her wing.

"My name is Lisa. And this is—"
"ROSIE! I'M ROSIE!" The chipmunk says.
I drop my paw to the ground. "Nice to meet you both."
Lisa folds her wing back and asks, "Why you both here? In a log no—"
"ARE YOU BOTH TOGETHER?!!!" The chipmunk asks us excitedly.

Jisoo closes my mouth. "We're not. Do you know how we can get back to Virginia?"
