Hey, all readers! I hope you're having a lovely Christmas season so far (or whatever you celebrate)! I'm writing this to wish you all a very, very happy and healthy holiday and to let you all know not to expect updates for a while. My mental health has been declining slightly over the course of the last month or so, some days worse than others, and writing was a big way I managed to get my mind off of things. But with college coming up sooner rather than later, Christmas, me and my parents still being sick, a crappy sleep schedule bringing vivid nightmares left and right, slipping into old habits I'd kicked, as well as various outside factors that's had a pretty bad impact, it's worse than ever. I had a really sweet Christmas chapter started, but I just couldn't find motivation to finish it right now, but I haven't deleted it. It may be a very, very late Christmas chapter. The next real chapter was actually almost completed just a day after the last one was published, but there's still lots of tweaks left to do and I just don't have the mindset. I don't want to publish anything I write right now because I feel like it... just won't turn out how I want. There's also a handful of scifi books I'd began writing a long time ago I've recently dug up and started working on again, so I've been juggling several stories at once and I want to put some more time into those right now. I really, really appreciate each and every one who's read and stuck with this story and who's given me courage and confidence. I definitely plan on finishing it, one day. I love you all and genuinely wish you the best this Christmas and New Year's. I really wanted to add some of my favorite Christmas lofi, but Wattpad is crashing every time I try to add a video. Technology, what can you do? So, I'll add a picture of a gorgeous sunset I managed to capture a few nights ago :). Enjoy the twinkling lights, listen to the crackle of the fireplace, stay grateful, as each Christmas spent happy and healthy is a gift. ❤️ 🎄 🌟
