"This is it," Angelina whispered to herself, her eyes fixed on the dilapidated structure looming before her.

A second letter soon arrived, detailing where to meet. Fortunately, Amy was too engrossed in her play to notice; otherwise, she would have questioned the arrival of yet another letter.

Angelina told Amy she was heading out for some shopping.

Being the responsible child she was, Amy promised to be a good girl and keep an eye on the house.

Such a sweet child.

As she turned off the engine and stepped into the biting cold, Angelina approached the front door with trembling hands.

The door creaked open, emitting a sound that was both unsettling and annoying, depending on how you looked at it.

Inside, darkness enveloped her, not a single bulb or switch was visible.

It made sense, given that the building had been shut down for months—either the lights had been removed or they had simply broken.

She scanned the shadows, searching for the devil's spawn, who was really just her 18-year-old nephew.

A sudden crash startled her, and she spun around, heart racing, to see the source of the noise.

And there he was.

"Hello Aunt Ang. Miss me?" he said, a sinister grin spreading across his face.

He locked the door behind him.
