The games started off with such finesse as the majority of the former tributes that had won throughout the years took off swimming towards the cornucopia, including the new former victor tribute Katniss Everdeen.
Despite what she had just witnessed to Cinna, it didn't once stop her. More like it fueled her to keep going and showed them that even though it did affect her; she had pushed through it as if that were something Cinna would've wanted for her to do for him.
To win.
To survive.
In being a mockingjay of some sort.
Whether it was for him in its entirety that she did it for, or for the rebellion as well as her as a whole and who she is to herself and the entire nation of Panem.
Katniss was the first to reach the cornucopia as she had first dibs to grab whatever she wanted and desired too. It came to no surprise as she grabbed the bow and arrow as her choice of weaponry.

She started to shoot at the district 1 tribute, hitting an arrow to his leg sending him back to the water. She quickly reacted as she grabbed her bow and arrow into position as she pointed it directly at the district 4 male tribute, Finnick Odair.
