🔥💚 The Green Ninja 💚🔥

Your POV

You hear lots of grunting and ecstatic yelling from Sensei's room. You snap awake from the short nap you took and changed into your gi. 

Quickly changing the bandages on your leg, you crept out of your room. Cole, Zane, Kai, and Jay were training outside. 

Another noise comes from the room. That's not Sensei, for sure. 

The person in Sensei's room didn't hear you coming down the hall.

"Woo hoo!"

You open the door slightly to see the Green Ninja. 

"Yeah!"

Judging by the voice, it was actually Kai. What was this idiot doing, wearing the green gi?!

Kai stood in front of the mirror, admiring himself. He didn't notice you in the background.

"FiiyaaAAAA! Unlock Fire! Uh, fire go! Shoot flames!" Kai punches the air. "Oh, come on. Everyone else can do it. So can you. BRING HEAT!" Kai does a flip and lands in the onehanded push-up position, doing a few before shooting up to stand in front of the mirror.

A few bouts of laughter behind you made you jump with surprise. Cole, Jay, and Zane were in the room now.

"Very nice. Perhaps if you tried the phrase 'fire dork', maybe it might work." Cole is still chuckling. You press your hand to your heart, feeling the fast heartbeat.

"Geez, you guys scared me."

Kai pulled down the hood and mask. "How long have you all been watching??"

"The Green Ninja suit. Awesome!" Jay goes closer to inspect it better. You give Kai a look of disapproval.

"Well, I-I was looking for some kind of clue from Sensei and then I found this." Kai shrugs you off.

"But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the Green Ninja, and only he should wear the Green Ninja outfit. So Sensei would most likely be very- "

Kai cut Zane off quickly. "I know, I know. But I thought if I just tried it on, it might help me see my True Potential."

"Zane is right. Wearing green clothes won't help you find your True Potential." You notice the gi isn't too big or too small, though. "Even if it fits perfectly."

"Yeah... but it's not fair that you guys have unlocked your cool powers and I still haven't. Besides, Sensei's gone and we don't know when he's coming back-"

A door somewhere in the Bounty opens, and an old familiar voice comes from the entrance. 

"Hello? I'm home."

"Sensei!" You, Jay, Cole, and Zane raced out of the room as Kai struggles to change.

You stop in front of Sensei and Nya. Jay, Zane, and Cole appears after a second.

"I win." You take a few breaths. Jay and Cole roll their eyes.

"Ah. It's so good to be home." Sensei smiles.

"So glad you're back." Zane said with relief in his voice.

"We missed you a lot, Sensei." You say before anyone could interrupt.

"Did you bring us anything?" Cole asked excitedly, though none of us were expecting a gift.

"Oh, Sensei, have you missed a lot. Zane's a Nindroid, Nya's the mysterious Samurai, Cole's a dancer, Y/n can sing-" Jay says this all in under five seconds.

"Zane is a... what?" Sensei looks concerned.

"You've been gone a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai-"
