The Void Entity Saga

Part 16

*As the rescue vessel flies over the spot over the ceiling has caved in before they start picking up signals again*

Pilot: I'm getting a few signals... now a lot of signals, a very abnormal amount of signals! Co-pilot! Tell me the situation!

Co-pilot: Drive back, drive back! They're gonna launch up!

Pilot: Are you serious!?

*The ground below them begins to crack*

Co-pilot: Yeah! Back! Back! Now!

Pilot: Hnnghh-! *Pulls on the wheel and brings the rescue vessel back*

*The ground begins cracking and shaking with void creatures starting to pile and swarm over to the spot before it eventually explodes from below with everyone flying up from the ground as fast as they can to avoid the void creatures*

Rampage: Hey. You good?

Pilot: Uhm, yeah, I-I guess we are.

Rampage: Sweet. Is the vessel okay?

Co-pilot: The vessel is in perfect condition.

Rampage: Great. Everyone. Get in. We're in a hurry. We have no time to waste.

Yomi: Right. Everyone, get in now.

*All of the monster girls enter the rescue vessel with Yomi, Ceri, Sylvi, Vesta, Hiriko and Anubis entering last*

Ceri: Hey, Rampage. Get in.

Rampage: No thanks. Bet that it's pretty cramped in there.

Vesta: It kind of is, but you did say we were in a hurry!

Rampage: Don't worry. I'll stay up top to keep guard while we fly. We can just run into some of those falling things and we'd all be in a world of trouble. *Closes the door of the rescue vessel and jumps on the roof* Alright kiddo, give em the order.

LB: Alright you two, it's time to head out. We're going now.

Pilot: I got it miss! *Presses several buttons before fully letting the vessel fly at insane speeds*

Rampage: Heh! Its much faster that I thought it'd be! *Grabs onto the side of the vessel and looks through the window* How's everyone-

*Rampage blinks awkwardly for a few seconds as he sees all the random monster girls cuddling up in pairs*

Rampage: Hey! Leave some monster girl body for me! I saved your butts-

Yomi: And you almost left us to die there!

Rampage: Fair point. Then again, I'll get it back when we get this all over with. Or, more specifically Mike, gets this all over with. We have practically no means to settle this and fix it all.

LB: Oh, yes. I'm certain Lord Mike will be able to deal with it all.

Rampage: That begs the question though, where the hell is the guy anyway? Haven't seen him in a while.

LB: The same goes for us as well. Although I think that's normal, isn't it?

Rampage: I guess so. He isn't really into responsibility. He really just wanna do what he wants.

LB: And I, respect that. Although, I do hope he finds responsibility for what's happening right now.

Rampage: Of course he will. Once he finds out several of his pals just got offed, he's bound to be pissed.

LB: And can you please stop latching onto the door and talking through the window!? You might break the door off!

Rampage: Right. Right. I'll just keep watch for now. *Climbs back onto the roof of the vessel*
